The parents of your offspring?
Like I know Gen 1 is hyped as being the "one that brought forth all the breeding" in order to get your gen 2+ but like...
I never go above to check the parents of the parents until I hit a Gen 1.
I just usually just go to the previous parents and that is it.

I don’t usually, unless I want to know if they’re from a breeding pair. Apparently one of my favorite dergs traces all the way back to dragon #160645.

Did this once and traced one of my Imperial dragons to like 14+ gen1 dragons, about half of which were gen1 Imperials

Sometimes I check, yes. Sometimes you can find I teresting lore that you can build off of yourself! One of my Bogsneak's mother is named Curie, after Madam Curie, so you can imagine the ideas I gained for his lore.

I find it interesting when I buy a dragon, and find out its a pure gen 2, a pure gen 2 from someones progens, or a gen 4 on their mothers side, etc

Even with my non g2 dragons i like to trace their lineage. Just found out that Bedim, my icon dragon, is related many generations back to a g1
imp on his mom's side!
