I see a lot of people loving/hating certain genes, and I have some really unpopular gene opinions.
I love capsule. Really love it. It's just so shiny and sloshy and confusing. It works on almost all color combos and it can even be used as discount glimmer in some cases.
I hate Gnarlhorns because it just looks the the derg was neglected. Those horns are way too big for its neck. That would be like carrying 3 bricks on your head at all times. I also don't like the positioning of the claws. And the spikes all over its body look really uncomfortable and grotesque and get in the way. It's like body horror to me. Same goes for blossom, but on a much lesser scale (more odd and uncomfortable rather than "I have a constant ache in my neck and make scrabbling noises whenever I walk".)

Most of the time smirch just makes a dragon look dirty to me and scales covers up a lot of details while looking really clunky. I just don't like it. I also loath hypnotic. It's just very jarring to me.

Also love Capsule! I see it as magical/illusionary so the anatomy breaking aspects of it don't bother me. I don't much like it on Snappers though with how empty it makes them look.

Nobody wants to tell you why discipline is so important. Discipline is the strongest form of self-love. It is ignoring current pleasures for bigger rewards to come. It's loving yourself enough to give yourself everything you've ever wanted.
I think star/con is hideous. I’ve never seen a dragon with circuit that I liked. I also really, really hate smoke. I haven’t been playing long enough to figure out the average opinion on smoke but idk I don’t think it ever looks good.

star/con + star/bee is such a good combo and i would die for any starcon/starbee dragon
lionfish is a cool gene too but i have barely any lionfish dragons lmao :_;
