Although I really love Wind and it's aesthetic, I most certainly struggled when choosing my flight at the beginning since there were so many great options. My pick was going to be either Ice or Wind, and I ended up going with Wind. But now, after seeing the Ice eyes, lair sidebars and many wonderful examples of Ice Flight lairs, I'm beginning to question my initial choice. Alongside this, Earth peaks my interests as well. I am aware that it is the smallest flight, but that makes me even more intrigued about it! I'm not the biggest fan of the sidebars but honestly, they actually can look quite nice sometimes, and the eyes although not the most popular I like them quite a bit. Also, Earth seems to do especially well in domination!
So members of the Ice and Earth flight, before I make my decision of if to move, here are some questions I have about both:
- How are the members of the flight?
- What are the biggest interests in FR of the members of said flight? (Dressing? Domination? Collecting? Geneing? Etc.)
- How are the forums? How fast/slow are they?
- Tell me more about the Icewarden / Earthshaker!
- What is the lore like?

Earth is awesome! We're a smol, tight-knit community. Our players skew a little older, age-wise, and we have a very active Discord server. A bunch of Dom-oriented people moved to Earth over the last year or so, which punched up our pushing abilities, but most people exalt for profit as their primary means of making money anyway, which is the true backbone of our current Dom strength.
Our forums are slow, some days only 1 or 2 posts, some days a dozen or so, but never very many. Like I said, our Discord is far more active. Dominance planning, mercing, general chat, and socialization are far more likely on the Discord server than the forums.
Earthshaker has many names to us. Poprocks, Earthdad, Sad Dad, and Pringles to list a few. He's the oldest of the deities and the most melancholy. He just wants everyone to get along womp womp.
Our lore and general aesthetic is desert-oriented, but there are many types of deserts and I tend to view the lands of Earth as American southwest-like. We are the ancients, the land of nomads, guardians of knowledge, keepers of lore. We have catacombs and canyons and long, looping paths trod by generations of canny and capable caravans. Colors can be vibrant and fresh or faded and old, leaning towards the rich gem tones of the deep earth or the saturated ochres of surface clay, although all types are certainly welcome. Our eyes make for quite a bit of flexibility!
Overall, I've called Earth home since I joined in 2014, and I can't imagine even vacationing in another flight. C: We hope to welcome you home to Dragonhome sometime soon!
