Had someone off site tell me it was basic FR etiquette to put a little warning in your clan bio that you exalt and:
It's always seemed pointless to me. Like, it's a massive feature of the game, why would I have to point out that I do it? lol .Not to mention, a big "THIS IS AN EXALTING LAIR" would look ugly and out of place on my clan bio, and I could put it at the end of my bio, but then you'd have to scroll pretty far to find it and it'd be pointless at that point.
Tbh to me it feels like giving into the very negative side of the fanbase that harasses people for exalting dragons.
No hate to anyone who has states it tho, obviously. It's of course only a problem if people demand it.
What's your opinion on "This lair exalts"? Do you do it? Do you think other people should do it?

I used to have it. Imo, it really doesn’t matter if someone has it. If you’re selling dragons at fodder price you should expect them to get exalted most of the time.

I do it, but really only to cut down on people thanking me for buying their dragons. I don't really care if other people do it or not; if they don't want to, that's their right and, frankly, should be respected.

It might be “basic FR etiquette” to some, but really it isn’t necessary or even needed. You can do whenever you want to dragons you buy, with a few caveats to things like free dragon threads (but even then, those dragons can just as easily be exalted).
Basically, you don’t have to explain anything to anyone.

I do have it, though that was a holdover from the days before G&G, when I would buy hoards of dragons to exalt, since it was my main income. It's a bit silly now since I just exalt my own fodder pairs. (Warning! I exalt my own dragons! [emoji=mirror size=1]) I had just put it there previously to try and dissuade people from thanking me for buying their dragons, since well. If that was a cheap babby, it's probably getting sent to the warfront! [emoji=guardian laughing size=1]

No. It's none of anyone's business what I do with the dragons that I have purchased and which are in my lair.

I have one.
Mainly so if people check where the dragon they sold have gone and they know that the dragon will be exalted. It gives other users a warning in case they might not want the dragon exalted. I've sold plenty of dragons back to people who didn't mean for it to end up in an exalting lair.
It's up to the individual if they wanna post it or not. They're not really under any obligation to do so if they don't wanna, heavy exalter or not.

it's less giving it into the negative part of the site who hates exaltation and more preventing "thank you for buying my dragon, i hope you gave them a good home" from popping into my profil comment every time i buy fodder.
Like that kind of message isn't harasment or against exaltion but i still don't want them,so time to put a banner on my bio.
I think communication is important and having something that explain, even a bit , what you like and do on this site can saves you from a lot of pings, if people take the time to read it, that is.
Just like the" i don't accept random friend request message", you will still receive some random friend request but way less.

no
it doesn’t really matter to me seeing as exalting is one of the sites main game mechanics and a completely natural thing to do

I don't think it qualifies for basic etiquette, exalting is part of the game and whether you do it and under what circumstances is nobody's business.
I used to have a little note when I was training and exalting a whole lot and literally every dragon I bought was going to be punted off, so I wanted to prevent awkward "thank you for buying my dragon, take good care of them" convos. Then I took it off when I stopped exalting so much and figured nobody cares anyway.
