Are you putting down your name in the general ping area? If so, that's not the auctioner or seller's fault. They can't go through 100 people individually if they're in the general pinglist area. If you have any special specifications, then put down your name in the slots that specify certain traits, like breed or colors.
If you aren't in the general ping area then yeah that might be weird. Maybe they misread?

Only five pings a day?
If you're interested in very specific things, only add yourself to the section where you're looking for specific colors, or only add yourself to certain eye types, or whatever the case may be. At some point the categories can only get so narrow before it's just personal taste and not pinglist misuse.

I think they’re talking about people not filtering out people who add things like “(males only)” like how they’re supposed to. They can get to specifics like neutral colors, but they cant specify that they only want females or males unless they add it into the column and highlight it. Some people don’t look and filter these out.

I'll be honest - the G1 list is a nightmare to use. As a disabled individual, filtering it out causes my illness to flare up pretty bad for a variety of reasons (which I can explain if needed) so I don't bother with it and I've been much better off since I stopped caring. Back when I used to filter it, it would take literal hours to work through.
If you aren't interested, it's not hard to ignore the ping. I get dozens of pings a day, and almost all are to things I'm not very interested in. I don't get upset over it, because there's no point. It's so much easier to ignore it and move on with my day.

I also want to know. Whenever I try to sell a G1 and ping the hoarders, I am terribly confused about the whole sheet.
It's not like[b] I WANT [/b]to ping people wrong, but it's just... ???? What the hecc do I do to get it right?
