With the 50% xp boost, is it better it to train up level 25s during this (not to sell though) as it's much faster, or a lot of fodder? Do fodder prices rise during this as well, or not?

If you can stock up on fodder beforehand it's very profitable, but fodder prices definitely rise during the miniholidays. I think the last few times it reached 9-10k? Which can still be decently profitable if you train to 7-8+!
Personally, I stock up on loads of fodder and train to 7, then train my own 25s after I burn through it all :)

I usually stock up as mush as I possibly can on fodder, because after tomorrow, I know he prices are gonna be super high. Last year, I stocked up a lot on fodder, and made a decent profit from it.
If you are levelling fodder, I usually go up to 7, which gives roughly 10,000 treasure, during micro-holidays, I level to 10+ for more money. I also suggest buying super cheap today, then once prices spike, yeet them, and you get what you paid back, plus more.

Yep. Stashing a load of fodder in the HD until these kinds of holidays(or whenever I have energy to level normally) is my go to means of things.
