i dressed up Aloemisteria, one of my dergs, with the entire Nightfall starsilk set and it cost me...hmm i can't really remember but i think it was along the lines of 245 gems, minus the 75 gems of just buying another apparel slot

then i got a hankering for getting the Night Sky wing silk piece for my avatar dragon Dark Matter - just the wingpiece, mind you - and the lowest cost was 300 gems. whh

so one Night Sky silk piece cost more than the entirety of the Nightfall starsilk set (which was about 15g to 32g apiece if i remember correctly). why is it so much more expensive? especially since the silk set is older than the starsilks? i never really keep track of FR economics so is it just that Night Sky silks are sold for high prices on the gem marketplace while the starsilks are cheaper somewhere else?

@darkmatterdragon i think they're currently cycled out of the gem marketplace, right? so it's just supply and demand, i think

They've been gone for quite a while... Stuff doesn't seem to be cycled properly anymore.

The night sky silks havent been cycled in since 2014/15 i believe. Been a few years and theres still demand, with little supply.

@Elsycl Staff doesnt have a set schedule for cycling gem marketplace items in, usually its years between cycles of a specific set.

Fall 2016, if I recall correctly. I saw them stocked as a newish player. I also had two of those blasted foxrats and friggin sold them thinking they'd be back and I would just rebuy them.

Cycling stuff is super inconsistent.

Yeah I was technically around for that but I don’t remember them ever being available. It’s so I consistent that I just gave in and paid $$$$ to have some of the set
