Once in a while I'll get comments, if someone saw a dragon of mine in a thread or on the front page. I tend to prefer messages if it's an actual attempt at conversation though, but random comments are fine. No guarantee I'll respond, but I still appreciate the remarks.

This exactly! Random comments about my dragons or lair, comments are very welcome. But for direct interactions, PMs are better. Sometimes if someone starts a conversation on my user page, I'll respond via PM haha. Having a conversation by posting on each other's pages just...feels weird.

Haha what started as a slightly inside joke turned into something endearing. I thought it was funny that people still commented on it even when I wasn't even using FR.
I think my favorite profile interaction happened a few years ago when I wanted to change my username to Skeletor. I commented on their profile, and they said I could fight them for the username if I really wanted it.

Most of my userpage comments are on the level of, "Thanks for buying my dragon!"
I now reply back with some variation of that they're going to Hogwarts (name of my exalt tab) for training in preparation for their forever home with SpaceDad.

I occasionally get shoutouts if one of my dragons is featured or if I grabbed a fodder dragon and fancied it up really nice but that's mostly it. I did recently change my bio to note that I am a chronic dragon reseller though to stop people from thanking me for buy in ng their dragon or getting mad when I immediately resell it. i like letting a user know if i spot their dragon on the front page, so the comments on my profile are mainly little "thank you"s. i've had my own share of people telling me about my front-pagers and it's just a neat thing that can help brighten up your day a bit :)
