For me, whenever I'm leveling fodder, I love to use crystal pools, especially because I can eliminate just about every enemy, except the Sturgeon and the Gulpers, and obviously the boss. So I'm curious.
Which venue do you like to grind/train fodder in, and why?

I do it in the boring ol' mire.

I grind in:
Training Fields - I can scratch and kill everything >:)
Sandswept - It loads faster since there's less of a variety
I train in:
Golem Workshop - Delver = Lots of money
Kelp Beds - I have a trainer there so whynot?

Mire, now that I have my two-dragon Elim dream team. Before that, it was Harpy's Roost.
Also whatever venue I'm up to in hibernal tasks. ATM I have one familiar left from the Savanna and then I can move on to Redrock Cove.

When I grind I tend to use the ghostlight ruins. I have just enough damage to grind a dragon up to level 7 before I have to scoot. I use Duke’s method.

training fields and woodland path - can easily scratch the enemies in one shot, goes extremely quick, and i have better luck in those venues
boreal wood - to get the new familiars (and possibly sell them), and grinding for the tin steampunk set
mire - i mostly just go there to level my dragons
those are really the only venues i ever go in, besides grinding in different venues for festivals, obviously :P
