Just out of curiosity, I am asking you guys to try and change my view on Skydancers. They are my least favorite breed and I do not own a single one unless it's fodder, so I think it'd be cool to either show off your best and most beautiful feathered babes, or to explain some type of cool lore you have for the breed in an attempt to get me to like them a little better :D

Here are my favorites! Hope this helps!
By the looks of it, seems like the breed is good with color coordinating! I shall take it into consideration :D

If there is an issue with skydancers, it's the feather wings that make them look more like birds than dragons. Keep in mind that these dragons are the Windsinger's kids, and his other kids are spirals. Both breeds are smaller breeds that are elongated with serpent-like qualities.
If spirals are flying snakes with limbs and too many leathery wings, sky dancers are flying snakes with limbs and too many feathered wings.
Actual FR lore suggests that the two breeds are complete polar opposites of each other in terms of temperaments. Spirals are clickish by nature in that they"will seek out locations inside a mixed species lair to make their own. Skydancers enjoy the company of other breeds and have a gentle nature. Clans with skydancers will often select a skydancer within a clan to mediate clan disputes.
If you look at actual flight rising lore about the different breeds, faes and coatls have communication issues with breeds other than their own for different reasons, bogsneaks don't want to hang out with anyone including other bogsneaks, ridgebacks are always borrowing without asking, spirals only really hang out with spirals and nobody else, pearlcatchers can be elitists, wildclaws and mirrors believe in strength.....
Every mixed species lair would benefit from having a few skydancers to keep the clan from breaking down and going to war against itself. These are the dragons that will gently remind the clan without offending anyone that there are greater concerns - the shade, beastclans - and fighting among themselves won't help.
