I’m looking to enter in the Riot of Riot Skin/Accent contest and thought I’d look to the community for ideas. A lot of festival accents (plague specifically) tend to follow the same few themes (rotting, Wyrmwound, visible evidence of disease, to name a few) and I’m trying to avoid those. If I could get thoughts/recommendations, it would be awesome.
Current concepts:
Mutation (would probably include several ribcages visible beneath the skin) |
Carrion insects |
Fetishes made of bone, hair, tatters |
Tattoo based off the swirling marks of the plague rune |

Maybe try and combine stuff? Like frost bite, burns, flowers growing from wounds?

I would love to see some bones! I adore that aspect of plague – while death is not what plague is all about, I like to think that they use the bones of particularly strong dragons.

What about using the bones of strong dragons in hopes their strength will rub off on them? I might do that, with runes engraved in the bones and whatnot.

I am 100% onboard with that! Especially if the bones were that of a loved one, as a morbid way of honoring/remembering them!

That really sounds suer cool and amazing! I actually have a dragon who does something similar – wears the bones of an ancient Seer.
