Have you ever seen your pride and joy up on the front page in the random dragon box? I'm not sure if there's some sort of prevention from a chance of seeing your own dragon, as it's never happened to me. But I'm just curious!

As a side note, whenever I see a dragon that particularly catches my eye, I always note the owner just to tell them how lovely their dragons are x3;

I've likewise made a point of going to a particularly attractive dragons owner's profile to compliment them on a few occasions, but I've never seen any of my own dragons up there. I don't see how they could prevent it from happening, though, because you could always catch a glimpse of your dragon before you actually logged in or anything? It would be an interesting and silly coincidence to see your own dragon in the "random dragon box" anyway, so it'd be a bit of party pooping to prevent it.

Thicket has shown up for me as a random dragon before, so yes, it does happen.

Particularly pretty dragons on the front page always result in me browsing through somebody's lair for an absurd amount of time, but I've never actually messaged anyone about it. Wouldn't be sure what to say.

@Khamaseen - Heh yeah I think so too! It'd be a bummer if it were somehow impossible. But you're right, I don't think it would be functional in the coding to prevent players from seeing their dragons, especially if they weren't logged in.

And speaking of complimenting dragons, I love your little mirror girl, Phantasmagoria. Those eyespots look great on her wings. And also Agnosia! I'm lovin' those tiger stripes. Been trying to get some of those genes into my lair's gene pool.

I try to make a point of PMing people when I see a real show-stopper in the random box. Brightens my day to see them, I figure people should know! Thinking I might switch over to leaving notes on clan profiles though, little bit tidier and has fewer "I'm hoping for a response" connotations (since I'm not, I just wanted to let them know).

@Indigo - Yeah i usually go snooping too xD I mean, if they have one pretty dragon, chances are they have more that I can admire.

Oh I don't say much, simply that I love how their dragon looks. Maybe something about the gene additions or apparel if they have such things.

@Wobblegong - Oh sure! I think it would brighten my day if I got a random note like that so I figure I should do the same for others.

And on that note, the clown genes on your Thleesi and Krethsar look awesome against that teal.
