Ah, I kind of assumed the holiday pets and skins would make a return next year, but maybe cost more tokens/ be mixed in with new skins. Shame, I would've made more of an effort to get them all had I known.
At least the apparel isn't gone forever; good news for those who registered after the events. ... Oh, er nevermind =P

There will be new familiars with a new theme for the set. This set is the sprite set. :)

I'm really glad I went on a buying spree for the lightning and fire sprites.
Gotta keep hold of them until some more new users come in and raise demand for them.

I'm sad the Light skins are gone given how hard it was to raise money then. But I'm glad I picked up an extra Jack-o-Snapper skin.
Also, to be fair, I think Undel already clarified the whole cycle thing in the thread where it was stated they'd cycle, when people asked about it.

Many gamers are collectors by nature, and if there are too many retired items... then some newbies won't even give the game a second look. And I don't know about the rest of you, but I like having other collectors around.
It'd be better if all the festival goods were available again next year, but with increased prices for the previous years items. If you double or triple the cost every year, merchants can still profit from them.

Yeah I'm going to have to agree, I would have personally liked to have seen the sprites come back. That being said there are already un obtainable familiars in the game in the form of the kickstarter things and the Boolean.
