[img]http://flightrising.com/images/layout/icon_wing.png[/img] It’s [i]possible[/i] that you might complete all of the gene breeding achievements on your own without deliberately working for them, but that would require that you have at least one dragon for every gene- and even then, it would probably take a very long time. This is especially true for newer players, who are less likely to have dragons with the older genes (as is noted above, the nine most recent genes do not have achievements). It will take you some time, but it’s a relatively cheap and easy project: [list=1][*][size=4][color=#6d3772]Go to the AH, and search for the cheapest female plentiful with three different genes. For example, you might buy a female Guardian with Clown/Stripes/Circuit. [*][size=4][color=#6d3772]Next, search the AH for the cheapest male in a different plentiful breed from the female you just bought, and has all different genes than her. For example, you might buy a male Mirror with Tiger/Seraph/Crackle. [*][size=4][color=#6d3772]Put this pair on a nest, and when the clutch hatches, you will have a decent shot at unlocking multiple achievements at once. [*][size=4][color=#6d3772]Repeat this process until you have all of the currently-available gene achievements.[/list] [size=4][color=#6d3772]The reason I recommend different breeds is to give yourself a chance at getting the Quintuplet achievement. I recommend plentifuls so that they’ll be ready to breed again sooner, just in case you need to try again for their particular genes.

I would recommend attempting this achievement in a low-level Coliseum venue so that you don’t have to worry about having a properly statted tank. [*][size=4][color=#6d3772]At the beginning of each battle, have your dragon use his Anticipate energy stone, then on his next turn, have him cast Guard at another one of your dragons. [*][size=4][color=#6d3772]Fight the battle as normal. I recommend trying this in the Sandswept Delta. [*][size=4][color=#6d3772]If your first battle has non-casters, just fight as you normally would. Keep going until you get a fight in which all enemies are casters. [*][size=4][color=#6d3772]Once you get a fight against all casters, activate the Reflect spell onto one of your dragons. The other two should do absolutely nothing; they should neither heal the Reflection dragon nor attack the enemies. Have them Meditate or Defend. [*][size=4][color=#6d3772]The enemies will eventually destroy themselves with their own spells, and the battle will be your victory. Keep fighting through the subsequent battles until you get another one in which all the enemies are casters, then repeat the process until you get the achievement.[/list] ------- [center][size=5][b][color=#881887]Need Both?[/b][/size][/center] [color=#6d3772][size=4]For the most efficient way to complete the previous two achievements simultaneously, you need a full team of three dragons: two casters and one "tank". Here's how you'd set it up: [color=#b73fb6]Caster #1 [color=#6d3772] casts Reflect on itself, meditates until it needs a new Reflect. It should do nothing else. [color=#b73fb6]Caster #2 [color=#6d3772] Does absolutely nothing except Meditate. [color=#b73fb6]Tank [color=#6d3772] Guards/Anticipates for Caster #2, does nothing else. It will work best against an enemy team of 3 casters, so you'll need to keep refreshing or fight through a lot of other battles until you get one. It will probably take you a few battles vs 3 casters to complete both achievements, but this should still be faster than attempting them one at a time.

Use all your gathering turns on that one skill until it’s maxed out, then move on to the next. [i][color=#6d3772]**A note about Gathering during elemental festivals:[/i] While every Gathering skill can yield [b]festival currency[/b], only Digging will have a chance at turning up the rare and valuable [b]festival chests[/b]. It is recommended that you use all of your turns in Digging each day during festivals.
