Flowers can go with leaves.
Flight runestones don't mix and match. This is true for a lot of tiles. Not sure if it's true for weather tiles.

@Shapes05 Flowers and leaves are "seasons" tiles, along with the sun and snowflake tiles. Any of those can be matched.

A traditional majonng game has -
Matches only same tiles:
1-9 coins/disks
1-9 bamboos
1-9 Chinese characters (often called "bangs")
1-4 directions = north, south, east, west
1-3 dragons = red, green, white
Matches any in same category:
1-4 seasons = spring, summer, fall, winter
1-4 flowers = plum, orchid, chrysanthemum, bamboo (yeah, I didn't know bamboo had flowers either)
Mistral Mahjong does it like this:
coins = coins/treasure
bamboo = claw marks
characters = don't know
directions = moon phases (maybe?) new, crescent, gibbous, full
dragons = don't know
seasons = symbols for seasons
flowers = don't know
The ones I don't know are depicted by the Flight runestones, plus the Beast Clans symbol, and moon phases. If you've figured out what symbols mean what, let me know so I can add it here. Moon phases only match the same moon phase, so it's likely the 4 directions.
Tiles that are playable are lit up. Tiles that are blocked are dark and gray.
Should I reshuffle or not?
It's up to you, but I prefer not to shuffle until that's the only move I can make. How can you tell? The reshuffle symbol (two arrows in a circle in the lower right corner of the screen) will have a pointer above it (looks like a V). When the pointer appears, that means you have no moves left except to shuffle.

Small problem if anyone knows how to help here-
I usually breeze through the first parts, but at some point in each round I have to use the reshuffle button.
The problem comes after that; every time I match up another tile, it tells me that there are no more moves and I have to reshuffle. I'm kind of tired of reshuffling every tile I match, so am I doing this wrong or something? Send help lol
