...When you first came onto the flight rising forums
Shesh it wouldnt let me do the whole title
I'll begin with telling how nervous I was.
I first kinda was to scared, often looking and poking about flight rising forums, taking a few days to actualy work up the corage to try and make a post, then deleting it, I somehow found the steal a dragon thing, and made two posts on that, of which I almost immediately deleted as I had been ninja'd, staying away for another two days before making my own thread, of which I was so nervous I almost got sick, and left that tab open for almost a hour before I finaly posted it (of course I didn't get any replys so I kinda deleted it) I then returned to the steal a dragon thread, made a few things there, and then started branching off.
So tell me how your first experience was!

Normally I'm also extremely anxious on forums, but I didn't feel that way here, since I knew there would be hundreds of newbies in the same spot (I didn't realize it was actually thousands!). That said, I hopped into the raffles section first (since new people = lots of raffles), as I figured I wouldn't have to do more than say "hi I'm new plz enter me kthx". I watched the forums for a few days before joining in on threads where I could.

I do that IRL too, just wait and observe what happens in a group, then join in when I can, as I'm not very good at actually starting conversations. It also helps that my flight has its own chat channel, so while it's usually pretty empty, I was able to meet a couple fire flight friends.

I'm comfortable now, so I'm way more chatty than I was the first few days.

I was terrified, afraid it it being like Gaia Online, like "OMG look everyone a nooblet lolz"

I'm honestly surprised, and I'd like to thank the vets for being so kind and helping us out.

I was so so so terrified. I actually don't patrol the forums as much as I should yet but I am WAY better than I was when I first joined the site.

I was terrified too, but then I noticed how genuinely friendly everyone seemed to be!! FR's pretty neat that way.

I dunno, wasn't too nervous, though i didn't like... lay low as long as I normally do (like I did with Gaia that place had all kinds of weird lingo i didn't understand and had to learn so I didn't feel dumb)

though i must admit i know nothing about dragon breeding or what dragons are most desirable soooooooooooooooo pppppppbbbbbbbbttttt

I wasn't scared of posting, I suppose, but I was nervous at first about accepting free things. I'm glad I started on my flight's private forum though, that was definitely a good move.

My only negative experience (which was my fault anyway) was when I was posting in a steal-a-dragon thread, and it was pretty late so not many people on. And one person was posting every few posts. They were a newbie like me, so they only had a few dragons to choose from, and I had already "stolen" one from them. Pretty much all their dragons had been posted up to that point. So I skipped them and picked the person above them since they had a lot more to choose from and weren't posting as often. I got mildly chewed out by someone else and was told (rather politely) that I didn't have to post if I was going to skip someone, and I got embarrassed and apologized and didn't feel like posting anymore after that. Woops.

I wasnt really too nervous, honestly. I mostly stick to the art sale thread though so what i was mostly nervous about was overcharging

I was a little nervous, initially. I found the games threads relatively easy to get into, and Dragon sharing was alright too. I just figure out what's happening in the thread 1st, then post if I want to.

But people here are quite friendly, and very willing to answer questions - as I've found in General discussion and others :). I'm happy with peeping in and saying stuff now and then.

Does that Pokemon fandragon exist yet? Check out this thread, where you can find Pokemon fandragons in one place :)
