The Flight of Dragons. It's a great movie! I think it was released in the late eighties, before I was born, but SOMEHOW it ended up in our house growing up (which is really weird, because my sister wouldn't have even been three when it was rereleased and neither of my parents are nerdy). I want to cosplay Princess Melisande from it.

EDIT: Also, while rewatching Spirited Away with subtitles recently, all I could think of when dragon!Haku was on screen was 'noodle'. My inner dialogue basically went something like this: 'Noodle. Noodle. Bloody noodle. Noodle.' XD

But before that, I always thought of these grandiose, giant intelligent monsters that are more than just fiery lizards.
Many are greedy, arrogant, and love indulgence, but can also be wise, humble, and smart about the way they do things.
And growing up reading the Dragonology books, I always thought of the cultural differences in dragons. Regional dragons, element types, behavior.
And I have always been adamant in the difference between wyverns and dragons.
Four legs + wings = dragons
Two legs + bat arms = wyvern
Good to see this site has their standards in place.
