My cat is laying on my shoulder and he just turned his head and bit my face. He's now just laying here acting like nothing happened....
Sounds like a cat.
Mine just spent like half an hour meowing and scratching at my door. I ignored him for as long as I could for this reason, I opened the door and he came in. I sat down and no sooner had I turned back to my monitor than he'd started to meow and scratch at this side of the door to go out. Cat, cat why. Why do you do this. Sometimes he'll just flop down in the doorway and stop me from closing it again.

This cat will wake me up at dawn by sitting next to my bed meowing until I put him on the bed with me. He can 100% get on the bed by himself but he refuses to do it if I'm able to pick him up.

Usually when I sleep, my cat sleeps on my pillow (since I don't use it) and when she wants me to wake up she'll start biting off my nose strips. If I hide my face, she starts biting my hair. If I hide my hair, she sits on top of my head so I can't breathe.

Oh man my roommate's cat sat around on my lap all nice one morning, patted my face a few times, then reached up and bit my face out of the blue. He's a total sweetheart, just a little too young to understand when to turn the playing off, haha. Cats, I swear.

@Skub Your cat probably just wants you to leave the door open (or just cracked). If he is outside and can't get in, he wants to know what's so special that you need it closed... but when he's in, he realizes there's nothing going on and wants back out.
Since it's been cold, my cat has been annoyingly extra cuddle hungry... particularly when I need to do something productive, like draw or write.

sometimes the random bite is a 'oh hey i love you so much i need to randomly chomp on your skin.' or as my sister says 'he's tasting to see if you're ripe yet.' heh.

unless i tickle one of them on the tummy for too long. then she gets a little mad.
the other one is completely fine if i pet her with my left hand, but not my right hand. then she bites and scratches my right hand
