I used to be really into it a few years ago, I joined up in 2009 actually. It's pretty similar to this site actually but with ponies, and breeding is a lot more complicated. I miss it a lot sometimes but It's total garbage now, so nothing can really be done...

I went on SUPER briefly when my friend told me about it and paid for an account for me and another friend of ours. It was really fun for a brief time but I didn't get SUPER involved and ended up not playing anymore too soon to remember too much. ;3; We were Hetalia roleplaying friends though, so the first thing she gave me was an America themed pony that I gifted back to her when I left so it wouldn't die. (because I do recall the DEATH.)

I use to be super into it too! Joined in 2008 and played up to... 2013? Had quite a few accounts and stuff. I had a busy month IRL and, well... losing 600+ ponies was kind of morally devastating. Haven't played since. I miss the game a lot sometimes, but I'm not going back to that. >->

What happened to the pony generator? Has it changed...? And don't consider it brainspace wasted! The information is actually surprisingly valuable? You now know basic Mendelian genetics/how to work a Punnet Square, and learned HEX color codes, which is really useful for art/web design! (PI taught me how to visualize colors in HEX, which has been useful for website design for sure...)

Totty :/ ugh, that's a shame. Seems like an art simplified for the masses and now the old masters no longer have relevance because there is no access to the old methods.

Ah, PonyIsland... I joined back in 2008, like it seems a lot of you did. Loved it for the longest time. Made what I thought were some great friends. Even got onto the art staff of the most popular adoptable on the site. Then I got kicked off it (it was for super petty, really hypocritical reasons, and made absolutely not sense whatsoever... a lot of people were pretty outraged, but hey. It is what it is.), and everything fell apart from there. All the people I'd been really good friends with just... ditched me, because the adoptable was more important. But, hey. I figured out who my real friends were because of it.
So, I still frequent it, to small extents, if only mostly for art commissions. I've considered letting my account expire, and I may still consider not renewing it this time around. It's really hard to say. I like FR a lot more these days.
