Perhaps starting a new thread late in the middle of the night was not my brightest idea. Who is your favorite character? Mine, personally, it Pearl. I don't think I've ever related to a character the way I relate to her. Her flaws and her strengths all resonate really strongly with me.

My favorite character is Rose Quartz, but the character I resonate with the most is Amethyst.
Rose Quartz reminds me so much like my mom..that often times during the episodes she's in I just start crying my eyes out.
Amethyst and I are like twins on so many levels (and amethyst is my birthstone!). Amethyst's relationship with Vidalia is just like my relationship with my older cousin. We make a wild team together when we're out and about, and she's a great shoulder to cry on when we're in private.

I relate to Amethyst a lot, too! I relate to her and Pearl a lot. It's really sweet that you can have a relationship like that with your cousin. I love how we've learned more about Rose along the way. Because we were built up by the Gems to see her as such a perfect flawless character and we're slowly learning that she wasn't flawless and that's what is making her so much better.

I love your Centipeetle! I think I've seen her a few times around the forums.
It's really hard to pick a favorite because, like you said, all the characters are really great. Even the background characters are amazing.

Could I be put on the pinglist for this also? I love Steven Universe, but I haven't really chatted with anybody about it.

Aaah, I honestly love nearly all the characters. It's really so hard for me to choose to be honest.
If I narrowed it down enough, I guess it would be between Steven, Connie, and Lapis Lazuli. Everybody else comes in so very close though. ;u; Like I just want to hug all of Beach City.

I agree! All the characters, even the minor ones, are all so great. The only character I can say with certainty that I don't like is Marty and we weren't supposed to like him considering all we saw of him was him being a jerk to Greg.
I can't wait for the Malachite issue to be addressed so we can learn more about Jasper and Lapis.

I relate to pearl soooo much too haha. I guess if I had to pick a "favorite" it would be her but I really love all the characters a whole ton. It's hard to pick a "best!"
