It's +20% in a group and TBH a lot funner when you're playing with friends! I have a discord chat with people who play too if you want to join let me know. :)

Anyway, favorite characters / skins /etc? Best POTG ?

I never really play him but solider 76 is my favorite appearance and lore wise. Pharrah is the main one I play with though, but also really like genji when cooldowns are reduced. :D

I was in the closed beta and have been playing basically since february? except when beta was closed of course

My favorite heroes to play are tracer, lucio, and junkrat, and i'm trying to actively get better at symmetra, hanzo, genji, and d.va because idk i need some more diversity and i like their playstyles?

anyway i just love overwatch so much and i'll gladly talk about it if you want lmao

@Foo I don't have the game yet but I have a dire need for it lol. And I have a question, is it worth it to get the 60 dollar version? Or should I just buy the 40 dollar version?

I'm finally gonna get the game this week and I'm super excited to play it!

@Foo You called? ;) I just bought the game on the 27th after watching all the trailers and animated shorts (and reading the Hero's lore). Their marketing team did a great job at getting me - a person who steadfastly refused to play MMOs - into their game within a few hours! The characters and the lore/story was too good to pass up, and I love the art direction in this game! The style of everything is so well done and the sound design is fantastic. I went around a few maps on spectator mode to get a feel for them and just listened to water drip off pipes for a while lol The last couple of days I was getting a feel for the heroes and their abilities, and I decided to focus on one of each type to practice at. Plus I want to be able to switch out depending on what my team needs. My go-to is support - Lúcio (I love him so much - and I love his play style - very mobile and energetic and he's just such a pure and lovely character!) He doesn't heal as fast as Mercy, but I do love his AOE healing and the speed abilities to get my team outta dodge and fast (or to an objective/point) plus his wall riding is fun and can get me to tricky places on the map! Then I've been getting a lot of time to play as a tank - Zarya. She was tricky to get used to, but I think I'm getting the hang of her now. It's almost like a support role she plays, but with the added damage output and damage soaking abilities. Then Hanzo for defense, even tho he's like, the hardest character to play >:O but I really love his design and his ULT is very powerful when used right! (I wasn't playing him at the time, I was Zarya, but w/o even communicating, I had used her ULT and grouped most the enemy team into a ball and he used his ULT and just plowed through them - it was so cool!) I also somehow got my first PotG w/ him on a defense map (King's Row) even tho I have really very little practice with him at all. His E ability w/ his alt fire is a deadly combo and he's surprisingly mobile and useful on most maps. He's hard to use since I'm a terrible shot, but that just takes practice. He's really fun tho

The $60 just has some specialty skins that just add flavor but the $40 one has all you need if you don't care about the few skins it adds. The $60 is also for some non-overwatch game items if you play other blizzard games but I don't so I went the $40 route b/c I didn't need the throwback skins, personally.

@thecatsred Thanks a bunch! I knew it had some exclusive skins but I didn't know whether or not it had anything else worth getting :p I totally agree with you though, so I'll probs just get the 40 dollar version

I was really interested to start with but then I learned it didn't have a single player mode/campaign and that killed it for me.
