Hey everyone! I need some help. See, I just bought myself a Playstation4, and I need game suggestions! I only have one game so far (Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, which I kind of adore), so I need some more content!
I really like adventure games and rpgs, and farming games like Viva Piñata are also top on my list. I'm already planning on getting Tales of Berseria and Horizon: Zero Dawn, and I'm debating on Yooka Laylee.
Just so you know what kind of games I like, other games that I have and like to play are:
Skyrim
Harvest Moon (Animal Parade and Tree of Tranquility)
Pokemon (I believe I have a copy of all the main games except Red, LeafGreen, and Emerald)
Fire Emblem (Fates and Conquest are the only ones I've played)
Sonic (only games I've liked from the Sonic series in a while have been the gamecube games and Colors)
I wouldn't be opposed to some horror-adventure games like Prey and Alien Isolation, but most horror games are a hard pass for me.
I also don't really like Dark Souls/Bloodborne or GTA.
Please help! This is my first adventure into Sony consoles, so any help is appreciated!

Kind of a must have is FF 15 - if you are into the Final fantasy franchise that is. If you don't like it thats okay.
If you like the elderscroll games (skyrim is part 5 of it) You can try ESO (The elderscrolls online) which is a MMORPG that spanns all of the Elderscrolls world.. Well it spanns most of tamriel and coldharbour. Its pretty nice - I've playing on pc for quite a while and its the only MMO that keeps me interested. You can play it on your own like any 'normal' elderscrolls game and enjoy the story and landscape or you can of cours play it like any mmo - search for a guild or 5 and get into group activites.
I'Ve also playes Assassins creed syndicate on it (it was part of a package deal when I bought my ps4) and it was one of the better Assassins creeds.
Right now I've gotten Uncharted 4. Can't give you a personal review yet but it looks promising.

I didn't know that you could play ESO without doing multiplayer stuff. Thanks for the info! I have an assassin's creed game, but I don't play it very much :/
And I've never played a final fantasy game, but I've always wanted to give it a try :)

I've never heard of that game. What genre does it fall under?

ToxicToucan JRPG pretty much(some spinoffs are sprg, idol games, hack n slash etc.) A bit niche series that has its own fandom though with well developed characters that I haven't seen anywhere else to be honest. And it's not overly stereotypical with "**** such a dark character past with the most emo characters etc." so that is always a plus when it's not too edgy. Has a pretty nice sense of humor as well hah.
If you have other PS consoles or Steam account though, I'd check out the earlier Nep games as well, they are as good if not better (imo).

This may just be because I'm a Tomb Raider nerd, but the 2013 reboot might be worth checking out? Its got some darker "horror" parts, but for the most part its a pretty upbeat action game.

Yes yes you can :) Otherwise I'd have never bought it.
You'll still see the other players and you are going to have to be 'faster than them' when you both look to get the same resource but everything else is up to your own. You can do quests on your own - you might get help from other players with the same questgoal (like you both need to kill the same boss so they join in on the fight you started and so on) but you don't need to interact with any other person if you don't want to for the mainquest nor for most other quests.
PvP is completely by choise too. Players can duell each other in normal zones (sending requests that you can 'automatically decline' in the settings) but only cyrodiil has PvP.
I have to admit though that some guilds (thievesguild and dark brotherhood) are only available after you bought dlc content. Which is a minus. A plus is the otherwise huge world.

FFXV: IT IS SOOOOOO GOOOOOD! Its one of my favorites in the FF series and I have played several of them. Thing with final fantasy is you don't need to know ANYTHING about any final Fantasy game to play it.As long as the game dose not share a number like 10 and 10-2 they are in there own separate universe. Before you pick up and play the game however you should watch the Kingsglave movie and the short 5 episode anime Brotherhood. It will help you understand the story and characters.
Persona 5: Like in final fantasy each game has its own story so you dont need to play the other ones. Persona is amazing. Its a JRPG with a massive focus on story. Its VERY VERY VERY good and the story and the characters are well fleshed out and its such a pretty game with amazing story and soundtrack. BUT be warned, get ready to sink 100+ hours into the game. The game also has multiple endings based on your choices so there is that to.
