I'm bisexual myself,[s] though not 'out of the closet' yet in real life.[/s] Maybe this month will be the right time? Either way, I hope everyone in the community has a love or non-love filled June without any hate. [b]| 6/30/18 | [/b] [font=sans] [i][b]As pride month is coming to a close, I decided that it was the time to come out as Bi to my mom.[/b][/i] Before middle school I never questioned my sexuality. It never occurred to me that girls could like other girls, or that gay people even existed. My mom never brought it up as far as I can remember, and the new middle school I went to opened a whole new world to me. You could like anyone. Love can come in all different shapes. When I started 7th grade, I looked at myself and realized that I was Bisexual. Boys were cute, girls were hot. Now brings me to today. I've dropped hints to my mom multiple times but never straight out discussed my sexuality. She isn't homophobic in the slightest, which might be a reason why I wasn't so afraid. My coming out story isn't a tragic one. She accepted me with open arms, and said she would support me no matter who I liked. She understood. I wish more peoples stories were as whole-hearted as mine, and I pray that one day every person apart of the LGBTQ+ community is accepted into a family who loves them for who they are. Hopefully I can attend some pride events next year with my mom-- For now, I'll see you next June.

@Otokyo i'm a panromatic demixsexual, but i usually go by pan, bi, or lesbian. i'm not really inside the closet no more considering i accidentally came out to my mom last year. my family isn't the most accepting, but they're fine with it though its hard to friend any girls because they (aka my parents) assume i might date them smh.

I have never really thought to apply a label to myself (usually just say im gay),

but uh hi i like girls and boys so i guess that makes me bi!
