- mixed all the sauces at HuHots
- didnt fully blend avocado in smoothie so it was repulsive. learned my lesson today

I'm pretty infamous among my family members for reading recipes wrong and screwing meals up. When I was younger, my mom asked me to make brownies from a recipe. I read that recipe ten times, and each of those ten times my eyes skipped over the fact that they needed flour. I thought it was kind of odd that the recipe didn't include flour, but I continued on making them.
The "brownies" turned out a horrid, revolting mess.

At least it was sort of a learning experience?? To read more carefully or something?? Haha.

I barely mess up my meals conpletely, they do turn our different then expected every time and again... But, when I was (a lot) younger, I tried to make brownies but read the recipe wrong and poured 10 times as much water in it than required. I wondered why it was still liquid after an hour in the oven. Then I read the recipe again. Oops.

Forgot you are not supposed to have homemade pasta thicker than a millimeter... It was horrid.

Also.. Parmesan doesn't fully dissolve in milk. If one is repulsed by grainy textures in soups cheese soup made from a larger amout of parmesan is gross.

I once added baking powder to a cake mix without sifting it, so it remained in these little clumps throughout the cake. Eating the cake was awful because between the clumps it tasted good, but you never knew when you were gonna get a surprise mouthful of nasty salty death.

One time my health food loving mother decided to use whole wheat flour in her blueberry scones.

It made them taste revoltingly like shrimp. No one believed me until they bit into theirs.

I cannot understand rice/grain ratios. I'll think I have it figured out, then realize that I accidentally made SIX CUPS of lentils instead of two, for example.
