Hey! Does anybody here cosplay?
I recently got into and I'm currently working on my 2nd project of agent Texas from the series Red Vs Blue and this is also the biggest one yet! I just have a problem of figuring out what to do with my hair which is like 2 feet long and I have no idea on how to keep from getting tangles inside the helmet. Any Ideas?
Also, if you do cosplay, what have you cosplayed?

You could put your hair up in bobby pins and/or braids underneath the helmet. If you can do the braids that wrap around the head, I think that would be your best bet.
I've done quite a few different cosplays, but due to weather and costume complexity, I've worn some more than others.
My first decent cosplay was of Enjolras from Les Misérables. The current version includes a vest with gold braid and gold beads over a white poet's shirt, a French flag sash, a blue cravat, a piece of red silk for a flag, and tall boots over black pants. It's easy and comfortable and it's always a blast when people geek out over it.
I've also done Absol from Pokémon, which was based around a white turtleneck and white pants, with fake fur boot covers, cuffs, and a bib for Absol's furry accents. The horn and tail were made using felt and embroidery mesh for stiffness. I have white gloves with blue claws that I sometimes wear, but since most cons make you wear a wristband, most of the time I paint my nails blue.
I have a cosplay of the Firebird from "The Firebird Suite" from Fantasia 2000, but I underestimated how awkward and heavy it ended up being. It's based around a leotard and a big pair of loose pants made in a silky flame fabric, but the real kicker is the fire wings. We attached a crapload of tulle to a band of silk and tie and pin the whole debacle to my leotard, but the ribbons like to untie themselves and going to the bathroom is kind of a pain, having to keep the fire wings out of the toilet and all.
My most recent cosplay was Tubbs from Neko Atsume, which was an adorable and comfy cosplay, but can only really be worn in the winter. It's based around a 3XL white hoodie that was "fattened up" by adding plush batting to the belly area. We made a cat tail out of a piece of white fleece and used a jump ring to attach it to the back of my pants. I also wore a wig, white cat ears on a headband, and stage makeup, and carried a food dish full of fish-shaped snack crackers.

Hey, friendly reminder to drink water, stretch, and take a short break if you can. Stay healthy! Also, don't forget about any chores or tasks you might be putting off.

lamarqueisdead I'll have to play around with the braid idea a bit and then do test runs once the helmet is finished but it sounds like it'll work!
Also love your cosplays!

I've cosplayed for... four years? I was a late bloomer and started this hobby later than most kids do, but I've enjoyed it regardless.
My first cosplay was Syo Kurusu from Uta no Prince-sama. I didn't sew it myself as my mom's friend who is an artisan wanted to do it for me as a gift since it has always been her dream to do flashy fantasy costumes etc. It was a good start which led to me wanting to continue cosplaying.
The first costume I made myself was Ion from Tales of the Abyss. It was... ugly. But hey, it was my first one so of course it was bound to be hideous.
After that I've cosplayed Makoto Kino from Sailor Moon, Aladdin from Magi and Maribelle, Oboro and Robin from Fire Emblem. Currently I'm working with generic Therian from Etrian Odyssey V and nothing has ever felt as painful than trying to make actually good-looking bunny ears.

I've done a few cosplays! Some, admittedly, were based off original characters but oh well! And... I have yet to go to a con, sadly. It's always been a dream of mine!
When I was younger I cosplayed as Hermione from Harry Potter, which was really awesome. I actually came in first in a costume contest for accuracy!
Then I cosplayed as my cat-themed alien Star Wars OC, and I needlefelted this huge cat hat/headdress with poseable feathers and it was pretty awesome. XD I was proud of that!
The next year I did a Cats-the-musical style costume of my Warriors OC Wolfsong. SOunds kinda lame but it was actually really pretty. XD
Then I did Annabeth from Percy Jackson, which was super quick and easy. ;) And I got a cool shirt out of it!
Then I did a silver dragon OC from my original novel. I sewed soda can tabs to stuff to make scales, and made my own mask with hundreds of delicate tinfoils scales. It took a few months, but I won my school costume contest!
Now my latest (and the one I'd wear to a con) is Dipper from Gravity Falls. I went to a cosplay dance at my college and came in second in the accuracy competition. ;)
Sorry for no pictures! D:

Ahh thank you! :) Good luck! I have no idea what the character looks like, but I also have long hair and had to cram it into a hat to play Dipper. That took a LOT of bobby pins!
