I've been thinking about creating a post that helps people find others that share similar interests to them. Mainly for people who are lonely and/or have trouble interacting with people(like me).

I personally don't have many people in my life that share my interests and a friend of mine feels the same. Originally this was going to be a post for me but I realized that there are more people who feel the same.

I'd make a spreadsheet to more or less organize people and make it easier for people to find others with similar interests. If I can figure it out and there's interest I'd make a Discord Server.

It won't be perfect and not everyone will be able to become friends with everyone, but it can help people become more social if anything else. And find a group of people that share their interests. I know there are forums that are for specific things here, but I personally find those nerve racking(I'd rather have smaller groups and such).

I wanted to see if there is interest in it before fully writing up a post. If you have any ideas please feel free to share them! I have a few of my own that'll share more of if there's interest!

First of all, I want to thank you all for showing interest in this! I was really worried no one would!

Secondly, I'm going to be working on the forum post today and some of the spreadsheet. I'll make sure to ping you all when I get it up!

Discord is not yet set up(Nor do I know how to set it up, I'm brand new to Discord) but I can give you mine for now if that interests you! The server should be up hopefully by the time I post the official Forum post/edit this one to be official.

My friend is gonna be in charge of setting up the discord given my lack of knowledge! Apologies if I made it sound like it was already up!

I'm pretty efficient in coding, but I may need help with some things to speed it up! I have to figure out exactly how much I need to write! Thank you for the offer!
