My basis for RPG classes is Final Fantasy and Fire Emblem, but probs some sorta mage? As much as I adore Dragoons, I've never been the physical type nor do I care for heights. No animal related classes cause I can't imagine doing any sorta animal handling on a regular basis.
Er, for consistency, if I were to base this on Fire Emblem classes and stats, I'd be of the Dark Mage/Shaman/Druid line (not to be conflated with the DnD version. The emphasis for Fire Emblem here is a tanky mage with a penchant for elder/"dark" magics).
I dunno, stats would probs be well-rounded. Boon is resistence, fault is speed. Sub par luck, but above average skill. Something along those lines.

probably wizard?? because i like to read and own a lot of books (could be my "spellbooks") and people say i'm intellegent (???)
prob a slightly lower than average str and wis tho, and an even lower cha. my other stats would be pretty high, except for my average con

Do rangers/druids still get a pet/familiar? What would you have?
I'm not as familiar with DnD as I used to be but probably a terrible wizard. No physical combat, that's for sure. Lots of staying inside studying magic, summoning familiars to keep the place clean. If conjuration is still a school for wizards, that. Transmutation would be fun though, just a lot less practical for someone who won't do much adventure.
Average wizard NPC-type stats, I wouldn't say I'm exceptionally good at anything. Probably low charisma, since I'm extremely socially awkward IRL. Oh, and low dexterity. The sort of dexterity a person who just sometimes kinda wobbles for no reason.

While I love to play casters, I think I would be a bard, or a similar "hybrid" class that aims for diversity of various skills rather than mastery of anything. I think my highest stat would be luck, with either charisma or perception second highest, everything else in the low-average range.
Though if my old D&D group were answering, they would say my highest stats would be luck and constitution (which was a running joke as I am a cancer survivor who lived despite being repeatedly being told I wouldn't, and I also have a VERY high tolerance for/immunity to certain medications and anesthetics).

Formerly known as Brenning.
Archer-type ranger maybe, though rangers seem kinda too heroic for my tastes if I look at the WotC description. I'd be someone who mainly observes and then strikes quickly if necessary, but generally non-confrontational.
Stats-wise I'd have terrible str, passable con, above average int to come up with strategies to overcome or avoid bad situations, pretty good wis and average cha. I don't know about dex, because on one hand I'm good at precision stuff but on the other I'm hardly agile :P
I last played a DnD based game back when Neverwinter Nights 2 was new (the less said about that series, the better) sooo I don't have any idea about skills ^^;
E: Did the character test mentioned later in the thread and got
Quote:
Neutral Good Elf Druid/Wizard (2nd/1st Level)
Ability Scores:
Strength- 10
Dexterity- 12
Constitution- 10
Intelligence- 15
Wisdom- 11
Charisma- 14
What, no score under ten? I'm kinda disappointed D:

I tend to either go mage or archer in any RPGs I play

I'd probably be a mage but be able to do basic missions as a rogue or a ranger. I'm pretty smart and I always did have an obsession with magic but people tell me I'm a natural when it comes to archery. My friends would say I'd be a rogue though, I like to steal their food (Plus, that's the class I normally play).
