General Discussion

So, I'm finally getting a copy of Sun after playing Moon back when the games were released, and I want to use a completely new team to the one that I used in my Moon file, as well as only using 7th generation pokemon, because I wanna be able to use more of the new pokemon. So, that means no choosing Rowlett for my starter. (The other pokemon that were on my team were Crabrawler, Cutiefly/Mimikyu, Grubbin/Togedemaru, and Salazzle.) The main thing I'm trying to do is decide which of the two remaining starters I should choose, Litten or Popplio. I ADORE Primarina's design, and would love to use it, but I'm also interested in possibly using some other 7th gen water types, such as Wimpod and Araqunid. There aren't any other fire types in the Alola region that are truly calling out for me to use them, but I'm still SUPER salty about Incineroar's design. I REALLY hate the fact that they made it look like ANOTHER fire/fighting starter, and copped out by changing it to Dark type. Which is a crying shame cause Litten is so damn adorable, and fire is my favorite pokemon type. (They really should've made Litten's final evolution be much more elegant, LIKE A CAT. But that's neither here nor there.) So, with all the things on the table, thoughts on which one I should choose? Thanks much guys! ^_^

I'd say Popplio, then replace it when you get Wimpod/Araquind. If you don't intend to use a fairy any time soon, you can keep Popplio to work as the fairy type.
