I am quite the curious one and love knowing things about those in the community...
What do you guys do for work?
Of course don't give out the specifics if it a very location based business. (If they only have them in Miami stay on the safe side and say what you do vs the business name. But on the other hand McDonald's restaurants are all over the place so saying something along those lines is understandable.
I work at a gas station. I actually just got the job and should be starting within a week or two. I am kind of nervous as I have never worked at a gas station before. But it is exciting, and my friend is the general manager, which makes life a lot easier. :)

Tech person. It's called IT-Systemelectronic where I'm from. Basically, I fix tech (PCs and laptops of varying kinds mostly), both software and hardware. I also put PCs together from parts und set them up. I rarely interact with clients directly, but it's the kinda job that attracts weird clients. Whenever I think I've seen the strangest problem, someone comes across and tops it.
The highlight of what I've seen: Someone gifted the boss an old laptop they found in their basement. It duidn't work, but it could possibly be fixed. Didn't react at all to a press of the start button. My collegue who was currently on it decided to open it up. 'Uh, I think I know where the problem is...', he said. Everyone who was present scurried over to him, just because he sounded really confused.
The first thing I saw was green. VERY green. The entire laptop was filled with moss. Some little isopods where chilling there too. My boss then decided that it should be closed up again and put into the company's basement, mostly because it's amazing that a laptop turned into a functional ecosystem.

i'm a file clerk in HR at one of my native american nation's casinos! i'm a senior in high school at the moment so i work limited hours, but it's a good job. not the most exciting in the world, but still good. also i have literally zero supervision so i can kind of do what i want, which is nice.
