So I've got 11 hatchlings growing up tomorrow that I'm gonna level in the Colosseum and exalt so I was looking for anybody's favorite songs/soundtracks to make the whole process a bit less awful.

Any ideas???

Skyrims OST is really lovely, I would link the playlist but I'm on mobile right now, but it's worth a listen if you want some relaxing music!

@SpicyDoggo I have a solid 400 hours on Skyrim and I couldn't agree more. That was one of the first games and soundtracks I ever fell in love with

Oh goodness same! I love the game to bits and the soundtrack is just so beautiful. The atmosphere just blends so well with the music, it's definitely my favorite soundtrack for any game. My significant other actually got me the signed OST last year for christmas and I listen to it when I have trouble sleeping from time to time. ^^

@AlmightyAmu Starbound has an incredible soundtrack.

One of my personal favorites is On the Beach at Night, which starts off beautiful and kicks into emotional overdrive at around 1:40.

It's the sound of pure, distilled wonder :)

Absolutely! The track Far Horizons always gets me when I'm just wandering around for the fun of it and that's so awesome! It's definitely a good soundtrack to fall asleep to. I'm not sure if you've ever heard of the game, but Darksiders 2 has a similar soundtrack to Skyrim, but the game itself is more of a dungeon crawler than an RPG

@Oranthia oh wow that's absolutely beautiful!

I never got around to playing Starbound, but that kind of soundtrack might end up changing that!

That's a really good one for sure! I love the trumpets or whatever instrument is mostly heard, it sounds powerful but soft at the same time. I think my favorite track is 's chance meeting' because it reminds me of the forsworn who are my favorite faction/group in the game.

I actually played Darksiders 2 right after I began playing Skyrim! It does have an amazing soundtrack as well, the atmosphere in that game is great too. Man I need to play that game again, it's been a long time since I have and it was such a fun game.

The Grand Budapest Hotel is my favourite movie soundtrack of all time. It's very jaunty and lively, and should keep your spirits high while Coli grinding.

Also, Xenoblade Chronicles. One second it's lovely and calm, the next there are A THOUSAND SHREDDING GUITARS OF AWESOME PUMPING YOU UP FOR THE NEXT WEEK. The standout is definitely Unfinished Battle, which in the actual game only plays for 3 minutes and never again, but by the grace of good Youtubers it has been extended.

Unfinished Battle is definitely my style! I'm absolutely weak for faster paced songs that feature a violin and that electric guitar that comes in occasionally is definitely a plus! If I wasn't on mobile, I'd link you to Winterbliss from the Castle Crashers soundtrack which has the same violin thing going on (you have to wait until 1:20 for it to pick up though)
