Does it count if you are an urban legend in your old hometown? Stories were told about some things I did, eventually twisting over time as the story was retold, misheard, embellished and so on.
If the stories were true, I'd be some sort of experimental mutant vampire monster with a Batman complex who protects children from evil. If that is how people want to remember me, I'm perfectly fine with that.
