TOPIC | Craziest story from your school?

This is mostly directed at American public schoolers. We all know that one crazy thing that happened at our school that got it a bunch of media attention and/or gossip. I live for em, so share it!

For me, it was when a kid got high on *****, climbed onto the roof, and blasted his mixtape into the lunch courtyard. A rave ensued.

In middle school, some of the boys decided that it would be a genius idea to hold onto the stall door and pull themselves up. The door broke off of the stall and it didn't have a door for the rest of the year

Also, when I was in 5th grade, a guy working for an electrical company came to check the wires on school grounds. However, the school wasn't notified, so we had to go on a lockdown because we didn't know who this random dude was. My friend got really stressed and started crying

EDIT: So I just remembered this story that my friend told me about her school, so I'll share it here since it's pretty funny:

So my friend was in first or second grade, and they had a coat closet to put all of their stuff in. Well, it was the end of the day, and and all of my friend's classmates went to get all of their stuff. My friend walks up to the closet and all of a sudden, a line of about 200 red ants came pouring out of the corner of the closet. Everyone started screaming and freaking out. Kids climbed up and stood on their desks so the ants didn't get all over their clothes. Ants were completely FLOODING out of the closet. The teacher asks "What's wrong?! What's happening?!" and the only thing they can yell is "ANTS!" The teacher makes everyone go in the hallway and sends some students down to get the janitor. Eventually the ants started making their way out into the hallway and had to call an exterminator.

Oh boy, where to start...

1. My second middle school (which was actually better than the first) had a family of ducks that would visit every summer in the garden. They ended up staying for a whole year once. The story got itself a spot in the local newspaper!

2. There was a weird man suspected to have a weapon headed towards my 7th elementary school. The entire district went into lock-down. He for some reason decided to turn himself in before he could reach the doors. Thankfully, he only had a small weapon and wasn't planning on using it. (it's bad to carry a firearm in my state.)

3. I was heavily bullied through my entire school life. I have so many stories of getting chased down and beat up. Due to the site's rules however, I'll just tell a tame story. There was this kid who hated me named Aspen. He started taunting me in health class saying I would never "have babies". One of my only friends Skylar, started taunting him back saying his name in a crude way, A**pen. After class, I decided to apologize to Aspen for what happened (for some dumb reason). As I tried to explain to him that we both were in the wrong, he yelled a gay slur in my face and walked away like nothing happened....

4. THE WORST STORY YET. This actually ended up on national news. Search "Tumwater School Shooting". I was there when the whole thing happened.

I remember one time when i was in 9th Grade, the entire school had a lock-down that lasted for probably two periods, what happened was that some crazy students decided to barricade the door of their classroom so that their teacher won't leave.

One I was there for was when the school got too cold for us to legally be allowed to stay in so we got the day off :')

I went to a tiny Christian private school, so nothing much happened. The only big things I really remember are 1) a kid in my class broke his femur at recess when he was like...8? and had to wear a cast for almost two years, and 2) in the same week, a girl had to get picked up by an ambulance because she overheated and fainted at recess.

Caught between the mundanely awkward and the existentially impossible.

This happened at my old elementary school. A fox entered the building and we went on lockdown for the whole morning. It just casually trotted in, every freaked out..

I'm not exactly sure what the rest of the people were doing.. Did they call animal control or something, or did it exit the building itself?

Whatever happened, it took a long time..

@Zygon TWO YEARS!? Yikes! That poor kid! D:

Similarily, during gym, a kid in my school (i knew him from past years but was not in any of my classes of that particular year) broke his leg. I wasn't there at that time and don't know the exact details, but from the window of the class I was in I could see an ambulance near the gymnasium and learned about it later. I can't exactly remember how long he had a cast on (it went past his knee and he'd been in a wheelchair a while for that), i'd gotta say... maybe at least a month? but still... yikes o ^ o

(Death TW)
Another kid about a grade higher than me (I think) was hit by a car. I heard it on the news earlier that morning, shrugging it off 'cause i was like "who??" but didn't expect for that teacher (principal? Vice? Something at the time? I can't remember what his job was) to come into our class (and probably others) to say that poor boy died. I didn't know him, though, so I didn't really feel anything. Still sad though.

And the hallways are always a hot mess of wild students screaming and pushing, every day. Today, there were two boys who I knew, as well as these two girls (merely aquaintances to me). One of the boys was racing up the small set of steps with the other on his back. The girls did the same, one on the other's back. What a hoot that was. Not so wild, but in my eyes it was :P

I can't think of anything else 'crazy', really. But I do remember all those FADS. silly bands and loom bracelets.

before i entered high school there was apparently two boys who thought it was a good idea to spray a can of axe body spray onto the glass wall in the one stair well and then lighting it on fire, unsurprisingly a bunch of the tiles blew up, but they were okay

There are a lot of fights at the middle school and highschool, I'm not usually there to witness them though. I'm not really there for a lot of things, but I do remember someone got like an entire semester of detention for throwing grapes.

Oh, I remembered something. Alright so I was having a little bit of a bad day, and like normal I went to the restroom after 5th period. So in the stall someone wrote "Be Strong <3" which made me feel a little better, even if it probably wasn't meant for me.
