I feel your pain, I always think that my world ends when series end XD But luckily there are always new, exiting stories to know about! :)

Oof, yeah. I haven't read WoF, but my sister has. I have, in fact, read Percy Jackson, and I was a wreck after finishing that.

I've read too many books that I've gotten desensitized to that feeling.

You need to read and read and read until you've exhausted all of your choices. You need to have your heart torn out by bad character choices (which are actually In Character, so it hurts that much more), the villains ACTUALLY BEING SMART, minor characters...not contributing to the plot. At all., and fandoms. You need to survive fandoms. That's an important step in desensitization (word check said that I spelled that correctly! Yay!). After a while, you'll notice that everything just doesn't affect you anymore.
(The real keystone to Not Caring [for me] was Harry Potter. Yes, it has good writing, but some of J. K. Rowling's decisions... The fandom's pretty cool though. If you still Care, try getting a fish. Betta fish are pretty cool, but I recommend doing a LOT of research. Tetras are pretty.)
