Anyway, I've got a free code. I'll PM you with it now. :) (I'm assuming you're asking for yourself, if not... go ahead and give it to whoever you're asking for.)

I've heard quite a bit about people getting toyhouse codes but I'm not entirely sure... what it is exactly? is it just an archive for OCs? If that's the case I should probably look into getting one *thinking emoji*

It is indeed an OC storage site! What sets it apart, from what I can tell, is how customizable and configurable it is. You can customize both your user page and each of your characters' pages with any amount of HTML (and CSS, too, if you have a premium account). There's a bunch of different privacy levels you can tweak at the account, folder, character, or image level - if you're familiar with Dreamwidth's Access List and filters, Toyhou.se has its own version of that. You can make subcharacters of characters to organize different forms they have, to show off their AU selves, and so forth. And I haven't delved much into this side of it, but it's also built for character/design/adopt trading. There's options for designating ownership and creatorship, transferring characters, and so on.

It's also very well-suited for storing art others have made of your characters as well. Provided you have permission, you can upload it and the site has built-in fields for crediting both on-site and off-site artists. There's also a character tagging system for images that lets you tag other people's characters, so when you upload an image with their characters, it'll automatically show up in their character's gallery as well.

It's still got its fair share of glitches and oversights. Biggest one I can think of is that there's no way to make a truly unlisted character folder, in the sense of having a folder that's visible if you give someone a direct link but can't be accessed any other way. Either there's ways to find the folder without being linked to it, or you can open the folder but not see the characters inside. They're always iterating, though, and that's what beta is for.

Toyhouse looks really nice, the customization you can get from this, whoa... It seems like a really nice place to hold all my adopts for my dragons, too! I tend to buy... a lot. I can't offer much for an invite though, I'm sorry. Is there anything I can offer you for the invite? I'd love to dabble in it!

I'M REALLY GLAD TO HEAR THAT YOU LIKE HIM!! I'll pass it on to my friend. :D He's one of a bunch of wonderfully self-indulgent characters some friends of mine and I created by doing that "combine your nine faves into one mess" meme.

I’m trying to create more OCs and give more elaboration to them, which is something I’m currently lacking but am trying to improve with. If anyone has a spare invite code, please ping me if you’re willing to spare it! I can give some g/t in return if you want, too.

I've actually been looking for a code for a few months now. ;o; I love the customizable aspect of this website, and it helps to have visuals for characters. Not to mention I've seen so many gorgeous characters on there.

If anyone has a code they wouldn't mind giving to me, that'd be awesome! I can give tips in gems and treasure if needed. ^^
