There's a large number of closed/abandoned Disneyworld/Disneyland rides. Do you remember any that you used to go to before they were shut down for good?

Don't mind me I'm just a girl who likes dragons and robots.

I've actually never been to a Disney park, but I'm still quite disappointed that I will never have the opportunity to ride the original "Star Tours" ride. The updated one seems interesting, and the upcoming Star Wars specific area is definitely making me excited, but I always wanted to try the original Star Tours.

Since I live on the other side of the country, I've never gone to Disney World and I'm sad I didn't get the chance to go on The Great Movie Montage; I'm by no means a movie buff, but its something I enjoy :/
I also love the OG Tower of Terror; while I havent gone on the refurbished one, I know I'll always miss the creepy theme it had. :(

Since I live in California, I used to love The Muppets 3D (CUZ SWEET CHILDHOOD MEMORIES), but it closed down.

@DraconicMusic I have only been to Disney World, so only old rides from there I'm familiar with. I did have a chance to enjoy a lot of older attractions before they closed or were renovated, some back when Hollywood Studios was still MGM-Studios. Some I didn't mind see leave or prefer the updated versions (Tower of Terror, Star Tours, etc.) but I do have a few favorites I miss!
  • Original Test Track: The updated version is neat, but something about the old one I just loved.
  • Great Movie Ride: A very old favorite since my first visit but at least the replacement sounds interesting?
  • Maelstrom: This wasn't a huge favorite, but the ride mechanism was unique! I was able to go on it one last time two months before they finally closed it, not a big fan of Frozen so the new replacement isn't appealing for me.
  • Snow White's Scary Adventures/Mickey and Minnie's House: Old classics that were replaced when New Fantasyland was finished. I do enjoy the dwarf mine train though!
  • Front of the monorail: Not technically an official attraction, but riding in the front of the monorail was an incredible moment as a kid. Can't request this anymore sadly. :(
  • Body Wars: Not a must do favorite on return visits but it was still fun!
  • Ellen’s Energy Adventure: This one hurts to see closed. :( I do enjoy Marvel and will still check out its ride replacing this one, but man I loved this ride. How outdated it eventually became was more noticeable towards its last few years but it was still a classic that I always made time to revisit.
  • Push the Talking Trash Can: I miss seeing this little guy wandering around Tomorrowland. :(
  • Micky's Sorcerer's Hat: Another iconic feature that was removed and now leaves Hollywood Studio's without an official designated icon.

I know I'm forgetting some, but these stand out for attractions that have since been retired.

I'm really sad about the closing of Tower of Terror. I went on it when it first came out as a kid, and needless to say, I was a little scarred after that. However, I love seeing it in the distance when I walk around the park and the whole tower itself was always so neat to me.

Also, this isn't more so for the ride per say.. but I was pretty sad when they closed down the Winnie the Pooh ride because they used to sell the BEST lollipops shaped like Pooh's head right next to the ride and they went away when the ride closed down

Umm DEFINITELY the Maelstrom and also Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. I remember loving it as a kid, though I'm sure I probably wouldn't have thought it was so great now that I'm older.

I also miss riding at the front of the monorail!

@Drastablight

Well, the Tower of Terror is still open in Disney's Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida! :)

I'm with @Sayla and Body Wars. Anatomy has always been a special interest of mine, ever since early childhood, and I remember loving Body Wars when I went to Disney World as a kid.

I'm all about roller coasters and thrill rides, which Disney is greatly lacking, so I don't have a lot of favorite Disney rides. My favorite Disney ride is Splash Mountain, which will probably never close due to its popularity. I hate getting wet, but that's what's great about Splash Mountain- it doesn't really get you that wet. And I just adore the music. The full ride soundtrack is on YouTube, and I can listen to that over and over. I'd have to say my favorite part of the ride is the double dip that goes into the beehive part.
