One of my favorite memories was when I actually missed my birthday because things were so stressful, and I spent most of my actual birthday traveling across a couple states. My friend's 4-year-old little sister's birthday was that weekend, and she was so distraught that I didn't get any cake or anything for my birthday that she insisted her party also be a party for me. So I show up to her party totally unaware and there is a second cake decorated like the Batman symbol for me.
