Mmm
I have a very tough decision to make
Abandon all of my friends irl and stay home for online schooling with awesome clubs and a Digital Art Elective
Or stay with my friends at my school
I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO

It depends on if you think you'd learn better tbh. I need structure, so I prefer going to an actual establishment to get my education. I tried the homeschool/online thing and it just didn't work for me.

I mean will going to online school mean you never hang out with your friends again? I wouldn't call it "abandoning" your friends? I took online school for a while and didn't suddenly cut all my friends out of my life D'8 Unless there's a reason that you wouldn't ever see them again, either way Zooropa is right!

Haddork Close to none of my friend's actually have given me their number. ;v; They always forget to. I think Online school would just be better maybe, because of the fact that none of my teachers currently comply with my 504 plan, and any of them haven't since 4th grade. With the exception of my 5th grade connections teacher, that is.

Hmmm this is too big a decision for FR but I guess I'll give my 2 cents ^^
Personally I would definitely pick irl school. I figured out pretty quick that I sorely missed seeing my friends almost every day even though I was pretty quiet and didn't really talk to people. Also since I didn't talk to people then when I had to I didn't know how. So I'd say the more easy experience in that area the better and school is really handy for that. Also I couldn't deal with the lack of structure or my parents all the time if I worked 100% at home :P
BUT, I also went to school in a pretty good area and had pretty good teachers, and I don't know what online classes do for you. I hear it's reaaally hard to get 504 plans straight so if the online classes do that's a plus (probably?) so if that's going to be better than lack of like, social interaction then yeah that's definitely the way to go. Is it the kind of thing you can switch after a semester if you don't like it? I'd say just whatever you do don't be afraid to experiment

Personally, I would pick the online school. If your IRL friends aren't giving you their phone number, excuse me for being so harsh but, it doesn't seem worth it to me. If they won't take ten seconds to whip out their phone and exchange numbers, then...
Plus, this online college has things you apparently really wanna do. My mom once told me a saying about friends. "Friends are in your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime." So maybe these friends were just a season, and you've yet to find lifetime friends.
If you really wanna keep connected with them, tell them that they need to give you their phone number to stay in touch, otherwise you won't be able to meet up or talk or keep up to date with each other, etc.
Either way, it's entirely up to you!

I'd decide on whichever is going to help you learn best, rather than your friends. Friends are indeed important, but if your struggling in public school, online might be worth a shot. Or if you don't pace yourself well, online might not be for you. Really, I'd assess yourself and what would be best for learning. c: Good luck!
*edit, assess was the word I needed orz
