What's a game that you love, despite it never quite catching on?
I don't know if it's all that obscure, but for me, Fantasy Life comes to mind. Maybe it's just my region, but I literally have not met a single other person who knows what it is IRL. Magician's Quest: Mysterious Times is another one; it's sort of an Animal Crossing-like game, and it's very good, but it's so obscure that you can really only find copies of it on the internet these days.

I love this game so much. I spent such a huge chunk of my childhood playing through it, and then dug it back out in college and started playing through it again.
The art is absolutely gorgeous, the world is so cool... and all the cutscenes and interactive elements have amazing puppetry.
Also, you get around via stegosaurus taxi. :V

Chthulu saves the world! It's a funny turn based rpg.

BOI I HAVE 150+ HOURS ON FANTASY LIFE AND no one to share the same excitement with (except the SO) ;__;
I'm hoping they'll make a switch port or a new switch game at least so that it'll gain some more popularity. Its such a well thought out game with such good multiplayer integration. Its so good I honestly wouldn't even mind a port so I can play the whole game again.

everyone needs to know about munchkin, best friendship destroying game Ive ever played. Im itching to play it now, if only i had a group to play it with!

AHHH I LOVE FANTASY LIFE. I have Pokemon Pinball too, as well as Rumble.
Tbh I also wish more people knew about Munchkin because no one EVER WANTS TO PLAY. They're like "idk what that is" and then won't learn because they're lame. >_>
