I know there's a major heatwave across the US. Where I live it's normally pretty cold. (Summers normally peak at like... 80).
The heat and humidity is making me grumpy. >:-\ I usually curse our winters because it's not unusual for us to get 4-5 feet of snow, but I'd take that just about now.

It's supposed to break here for a day or two, but then we're getting hit with another 3 days after that.
Please everyone, remember to check on your elderly neighbors, people with illnesses or disabilities, and other vulnerable members of the community. Yes, it's nerve-wracking, but it can literally save someone's life.

It takes Twelve Years for one Imperial pair to produce a Primal-eyed offspring of a specific sex. Goal-based breeding is dead.
Down here in florida it's always hot as hell in the summertime so I've noticed no difference
I can't handle heat at all. I went to a baseball game and I was a zombie. I think I had heatstroke. I could barely form a sentence
Ugh, yeah... I'm in the UK and weather here is usually really mild (like, 20°C is considered warm here). But lately it's just been sunny, hot, sweaty weather with hardly any breaks in it. Doesn't seem like it's gonna let up any time soon, either. :/
Worst part is AC isn't a commonplace thing here since hot weather never used to be a problem. It's certainly not something found in your average household. Hell, even schools don't have it. So everyone's just stuck sitting in front of fans feeling sorry for themselves and trying not to get heatstroke in a country that's not at all equipped to deal with these seemingly endless heat waves.

We're definitely in the middle of a heat wave here in the Netherlands. This June was the hottest June since 1962 or something, it's nuts. Climate be crazy D:

Wildwood Owlet

This owlet evolved large, adorable eyes to deter hungry predators with its cuteness. Are you going to fall for that? (Special thanks Petrichora.)

For a time owls sought to build nests in the Observatory at Focal Point. They quickly stopped when their owlets began turning pink. (Special thanks ZephiraZ.)
We do get heatwaves like this every so often. This isn't the first time it's been like this and for the past three years or so, barring a week or two, the summers have been pretty mild.
2006 was similarly scorching, 1995 was hideous and 1976 is famous for it too (I wasn't around then but my dad has mentioned it).
I hate it. I wish it would just go back to being overcast and a tolerable 19°c. My house is 3 floors. My room's on the third. Heat rises. I'm going to die of melting.
