TOPIC | What’s your top 5 Disney animated films
1 2 3
I’ve been watching Disney films lately and enjoying these classics. So many good memories associated with these films. Though I’m really starting to miss the hand drawn style of Disney animation. These films were a huge part of my childhood as I would watch these films over and over again. Now that I’m much older I still appreciate Disney films.
My top five Disney films (in no particular order) would have to be The Lion King, Pocahontas, Moana, Beauty and the Beast, and Wall-e. This was a pretty hard list to narrow down to five films. lol
What’s everyone’s top five Disney animated films? You can include Pixar films on the list too.

It is so hard to choose only five! But, here goes:

1. 101 Dalmatians.
2. Beauty and the Beast.
3. The Rescuers Down Under
4. Sleeping Beauty
5. Moana

nunc, ad tuas labores reveni!
In no particular order... Disney animated only!

Beauty and the Beast, Atlantis, Treasure Planet, Lilo and Stitch, Hunchback of Notre Dame.

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and Jungle Book were my favourites when I was a child though. I feel bad for not including them in my top five :(

For "I Know That Reference", all dragons (minus Level 25s & Fodders) are fandergs within my lair :)
1. WALL-E
Gorgeous visuals, amazing soundtrack (seriously just listen to this) and a cute love story, what's not to like?
2. The Hunchback of Notre Dame
I didn't see this film as a kid and I really regret it. The only part of the movie I didn't love was the Gargoyles, which is why I put it at #2 instead of #1.
3. The Little Mermaid
Probably my favourite movie as a child. Ariel's desire to live a life she can't have really resonated with younger me.
4. Finding Nemo
One of the few movies I've watched that have gotten better as I've gotten older. The story of a father trying to reunite and reconcile with his child was a refreshing break from the usual romantic plots at the time.
5. Bolt
A seriously underrated film. I really enjoyed the journey the protagonists went through and the main character's devotion to his owner was heartwarming.

the emperor's new groove: fun movie with good comedic timing. it also has my personal favorite villain.

moana: frickin beautiful animation. and I guess this is an unpopular opinion but I think the rock was a decent singer.

mulan: I love the story! it also had a great soundtrack

coco: I don't know if this counts since it's from pixar but the two studios are pretty much the same thing at this point

I don't even know what to say about this one I just really like it.

wreck it ralph: I think this is one of the only video game movies I liked.

The Rescuers Down Under - Easily the most underrated Disney film, and the flight of Marahute alone makes this movie my no. 1. I prefer adventure over romance any day, so that's probably why I watched it a ton.

Treasure Planet - The relationship between Silver and Jim gave me so many feels, and was one of the first movies to introduce me to the concept that villains aren't necessarily villainous.

Fantasia - I guess I was just fascinated with the creativity. I watched the Night on Bald Mountain and the Pastoral Symphony millions of times. I was a huge horse lover way back, so I always imagined myself as a centaur a lot because of Fantasia lmao.

Dinosaur - Another underrated film that I watched to death, and what sparked my interest in dinosaurs. I rarely ever see this film mentioned anywhere, which makes me sad, but it has a 10/10 soundtrack and story. I still randomly get that random opening orchestral in my head despite not seeing the film in years.

Tarzan - I LOVE THIS MOVIE. I LOVE THE MUSIC FROM THIS MOVIE. I LOVE HOW VIBRANT AND SMOOTH THE ANIMATION IS.

I'm really conflicted because I really want to put The Little Mermaid on here somewhere because I love that movie, but ONLY 5 SLOTS D: D:

Gotta admit this is actually hard beyond my number 1.

1. Great Mouse Detective - Growing up I was a big Holmes nerd and I still am and to this day it will eternally have a special place in my heart because it's just precious.

2. Hercules - I will totally admit that as a kid I had the largest crush on Herc and as an adult and teen his struggle felt more like relateable you know?

3. Alice In Wonderland

4. Peter Pan

5. Robin Hood

The last three have no real specific reason beyond I love them.
