Hello, everyone! I hope you're all doing well.
I'm a total, utter newb at D&D and in my first ever campaign my character, Volly the Inquisitive Rogue, has reached level 4. Now I have to pick between maxing Dex, improving Wis (she already has a Passive Perception of 16 due to Expertise and she needs good Insight (currently 14) to be the most successful at her subclass) or taking a Feat. I've found several interesting ones. There's Svirfneblin Magic, Savage Attacker, Skulker and Observant and I'm having a really hard time deciding what to choose.
A few notes on her character and situation - she's a huge coward who frightens easily but it very physically strong. She's very cautious and aware of her surroundings at all times and her personal safety comes first.
We're playing Out of the Abyss and we've just escaped from Sooblodop (is that right?), so she's currently very very scared.
Has anyone got any advice? I need to decide by the end of Sunday and at this rate I don't think I'm going to...
