Some parts of the Overwatch fandom. Some of the complaints I can kind of understand, but it just seems like constant fighting and pointing out flaws that are so miniscule they shouldn't be that much of a problem. :(

i stopped being in the fandom like 3 seasons ago because of how argumentative and toxic it was, it was really hard to enjoy being in the fandom with all the ship wars

The Voltron fandom ruined my enjoyment of the show. I just cringe whenever I see their precious Lancey-Lance and Keef, remembering all the toxicity and just plain cringey posts that absolutely smothered my Tumblr dash. I heard the show suffered a drop in quality after season 3 or so, so I’m kind of glad I got out early. /rant
Going any deeper into the Pokémon fandom than admiring cute and cool fan works will result in this.
Smash Bros… I’m so excited for Ultimate since I played so much Brawl and Sm4sh with my brother, but it’s just salt, salt everywhere. I don’t like Incineroar that much either, but he looks fun to play and I understand why they put him in instead of, say, Gardevoir. And Piranha Plant is adorable and valid.
Uh… the BnHA fandom is like this when shipping is concerned. It’s best not to have strong opinions.

For me it's the opposite. I don't like fandoms that toot their own horn and say they're all open and progressive when they refuse to acknowledge legitimate criticism. So I stay away :')

Sadly the Smash Bros. fandom has gone this way... I know there's plenty of people who take things all in good fun but some people take things way too seriously... We had people harassing Sakurai on social media because Waluigi was an assist trophy, we had raging Ashley supporters... like dude. Sakurai is working his butt off to satisfy players with this game. And you choose to complain that (insert character here) isn't a playable fighter. In the cases above, at least the characters are in the game at all.
