Me and my dad have a 75-gallon community tank with plants.

I have
-1 Dwarf Opalescent Gourami
-2 Angels (2 diff. kinds)
-5 Red Flame Tetras (plus one baby they had!)
-5 Cory Catfish
-4 Apistogrammas
-1 Golden Mystery Snail

I am really worried about the Apistos though. We ordered them online and they were much younger than anticipated. The larger fish, (mostly the Angels & Gourami) like to pick on them, and they won't come out. We made some small caves for them to hide in, but they won't come out.

So if anyone has advice, questions, or just wants to gush about their gilled children go on ahead!

Oh yes! I've had many tanks over the years since i was real young. There's just something so nice about having a beautiful tank around.
I don't remember the exact names of all the fish i have now, but we have some mollies and neon striped tetras(?) in there alongside 3 different catfish (Peppered, Albino and Panda) and a sucker fish.
The mollies actually had some babies too! They're all grown up now and swimming with the bigger fishies. It was really cool to watch them grow!

Some years back we had a monster of a tank. We had such a massive community of fish in there, and some get really big, much more than we were expecting. But alas the tank broke when we were moving :<

I would so love to see your fish tank though! It sounds really lovely! Ive never seen an Aspisto before :0 Though youdefinitely seem like you know more than me x)

I want a fish so bad and i will name it Pudge like the fish from Lilo and Stitch that eats peanut butter sandwiches and controls the weather

i want it to be a black molly, dalmatian molly, or a speckled comet

:D That sounds like a cool tank. What sort of apistos do you have? We've been considering some for one of our tanks.
Are the apistos new? They could just be shy. We have 3 pearl gouramis and it took them months to stop hiding. The females still swim away if you move took quickly and we've had them over a year.

We have 2 tanks at the moment. A 46 gallon with pearl gouramis, rummynose tetra, harlequin rasbora, a bristlenose pleco, black kuhli loaches and crystal red shrimp.
And a 20 gallon with cardinal tetras and bronze corys.

Hey there @Hufflepuff3927, just a reminder that bumping is not allowed outside the various sales forums! As an additional note to everyone posting in this thread, please remember that veterinary advice is not allowed -- this includes animal husbandry advice. I understand it's a little hard to take your fish to the vet but bad advice, either accidental or intentional, could cause more harm than good. Here's my late Casimir, he went to fishy heaven not too long ago, but he had a good, long life! And he loved his leaf... all kinds of live natural plants for him to play in, and he wants the plastic leaf. Go figure.

I only have one comet goldfish anymore, but he has the personality to count for having ten fish. He's going on seven years old now and including his back fin he's ~8 inches long. He is twice as expressive as I thought a fish was capable of being, and "follows" me around from one side of the tank to the other (while staring me down for treats) all day every day. He has a "happy dance" he does when I approach the tank for mealtimes. I try to give him enrichment because I saw some fish bloggers on tumblr give their goldfish homemade feeder balls and small toys, but I really should get him a tankmate again, although he's more of a "people fish" than a fish fish.

Edit: WAIT I should call him out on repeatedly uprooting and killing every live plant I've ever put in there while I'm at it. BAD fish! Ungrateful child who does NOT appreciate his doting owner giving him a beautiful environment of expensive live plants to call his home.
