I remember being super young and watching this movie called the Tale of Despereaux all the time as a kid. It was about some mouse knight falling into an underground kingdom of rats in order to save his kingdom aboveground. My family hates it, but I loved it a lot and have been wanting to rewatch it lately. Anyone else have those weird movies you loved as a kid?

@LucidWhispers there was a book for that movie (with several differences, such as the fact Despereaux's tail was cut off in the book, but not the movie)!! it's been a while since i've watched the movie though, I loved the animation
I, personally... Oh... Dare I say it? Loved the movie—
the legend—
the one that literally nobody likes one bit—
Doogal.
With the dog and how he went on an adventure after his owner was frozen in a carousel? Something like that? I was surprised that literally everyone hated it. Again it's been years, but I loved that movie to death. I was an odd kid.

Spirited Away was a big one for me.
Howl's Moving Castle
Spirit - The new show they've got going now looks absolutely vulgar. Why the heck do they have to remake everything.
Ratatouille
These are the ones I can remember on the top of my head. I'm sure there were more.

Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron was my favourite as a kid. I loved horses growing up and could watch this movie like 3x a day
The Little Mermaid was another favourite of mine [emoji=familiar heart]

I can't remember what it's called but it was about some girl in the medieval times that had to save someone/get something and she had two dragon friends. It was also animated.

Casper the friendly ghost!
Rewatched it recently and it’s a lot less weird than I remembered..
Scratch that, it’s just weird in a different way :P

Most of the films I really liked as a kid I still love now, stuff like:
- The Iron Giant (Still my favourite)
- Prince of Egypt (absolutely amazing soundtrack and movie https://youtu.be/Bcg5rN-jlaw)
- Tarzan
- Lilo and Stitch
- Quest for Camelot (Loved it as a kid but scared to rewatch and find out it wasn't as good as I remember. I love Ruber as a villain and how much a meme he has become)

- The Aristocats
- Toy Story 1 and 2 (pretty sure 2 is the first film I ever remember watching)
- Ice Age, mostly 1 and 3 (although the video game for 2 was one of my favorites)
- Robots
- Cinderella
- Spirit
- The Land Before Time (I literally memorized this one)
- Barbie movies… (specifically Swan Lake and Rapunzel)
- The Incredibles
- The Pokémon movies about Jirachi and Deoxys
- Cars :P
- Monsters Inc
- Finding Nemo
- Kung Fu Panda
- Balto
- How to Train Your Dragon
- Rio
- The Croods (the story and human characters were nothing to write home about, but I loved the hybrid animals and the scenery was gorgeous)
