Minecraft 1.14 The Village and Pillage update is outt!! I was waiting for that forest revamp for ages. What do you guys think about it?
I absolutely love the new release art, reminds me of 2b2t. Though I really don't like some of the texture changes. Sponge looks horrendous, like moldy cheese. The emerald block looks meh, nether quartz ore looks horrible. AND WHAT DID THEY DO TO MELON??? I miss the old, hard textures, tbh. Everything just looks bubbly and... Vague?
Furthermore I love quite a lot of them! Like mossy cobble, all the new flower texture art, the golden/apple art, the cactus looks beautiful, and don't even get me started on how amazing cake looks.

I was very weirded out at first, but I've quickly come to love it.
I'm a budding builder and I've recently been getting back into practicing again, and I freaked when I saw some of the new blocks lol. It's a dream to have new half slabs and stone walls to use. And those barrels and baskets and camp fires and LANTERNS?? They're so so so cool and great for detail. Can't wait to use them in a build.
Honestly the only thing I'm a little disappointed about was the mushroom stem block. It had more texture in 1.13 and older updates and they smoothed it out in 1.14. Oh well. That's okay.

I'm enjoying it!... though my computer is a literal potato so it has some issues running a single player world, the raid system seems fun ill need to check it out.

I love it! I build a lot so it’s welcome, even if some things could be better. And the new villages? Oh my gosh, they’re amazing. Everything looks so much better!

holding right click on unemployed/nitwit villagers is the best thing you should try it
other than that i havent hecked around with it too much but i love how much villagers have been developed

Right now, I can't tell if this is update or the seed I got, but the dark oak forests don't look smushed anymore.
Stone and the -ites look really nice!
Campfires are great "beacons" early game.
Cats not only purr, they will lounge on your bed and purr. They also bring you feathers and rabbit feet.
