General Discussion

I really love video game soundtracks and music and listen to them constantly. Good music to complement a boss fight or important scene really makes the moment more memorable for me. My two favorites as of this moment are Hollow Knight, and Nier Automata. (not finished with Nier so avoid spoilers please)

Child of Eden's OST, even though it's short, Is lovely in my opinion! It's a synesthesia game that gives you the f e e l s (the sounds the projectiles produce when approaching you even makes it look like they're actually going to hit you irl! It's pretty spooky and cool imo). Honestly I'm obsessed with it

Crysis 2 OST is my favorite, all of it is just so good. Dragon's Dogma OST was also good, really intense orchestral pieces. I also really loved the trailer song for Final Fantasy a Realm Reborn - End of an Era. The song is called Answers and I cannot stop listening to it.

Minecraft, Okami and Celeste are up there for me, they have such a amazing atmosphere and sound to them.

Hollow Knight's OST is my favorite. It's full of orchestral goodness
Child of Light's OST is also full of orchestral goodness, with some choir thrown in too!
The Touhou Project's OST is absolutely massive. And has some really good covers too

i don't play too many video games but i really like minecraft and undertale's theme! i've never played undertake but the theme is just so emotional and soft i love it ahhh.

I just have to say any PMD game ever. there are some tracks (especially from explorers and gates) that I simply love listening to and have a hard time getting bored of

I can like one song from a game often enough but I actually really enjoyed most songs on far cry 5's soundtrack

Touhou's OST, anyone? It's overall so good, I don't know if I can pick a favourite. I like Perfect Cherry Blossom and Ten Desires' OSTs in particular.

I know some of Undertale's tracks (notably Undyne's theme) were inspired by it, so it gets a shoutout too.

I absolutely LOVE Persona 3's soundtrack. Deep breath deep breath is my favorite!
