TOPIC | Playing Roblox so You Don't Have To
1 2
hello, welcome to church, thank you all for attending. i've got something difficult to tell you.

I kinda have a problem with playing front-page roblox simulator games. So to make it actually worthwhile to waste my time there, I'll make it so y'all don't have to suffer like I did from discovering the bad ones, and also making it so y'all don't have to suffer to find and play the good ones.

Every other day, I'll review a simulator so you don't have to comb through the entire front page to find something worth playing and to tell if a game is probably being botted to the front or if it's actually up there due to being good.

My review system is simple. (the examples will be filled in with actual games i play and review later on)
0 - please. don't. (ex.)
1 - Probably not worth playing. (ex.)
2 - Worth playing, but not worth sinking money into. (ex.)
3 - Actual quality games that are worth sinking money into. (ex.)
4 - Real, actual quality games that not only are worth sinking your wallet into, not because it gives a real advantage, but solely to support the developers. (ex.)

Keep in mind, most of them are meant to get you hooked to squeeze out all your money, and for the targeted demographic, that's kind of illegal. That's part of the reason why not many games get above 2, but there's more, mostly because most simulators are SOLELY designed to con you out of your whole wallet.

Once the first review comes out of the shadows, there will be an archive of past reviews. There will also be a pinglist because there's literally no reason for there not to be a pinglist. You all want to see all of my suffering. I know it.

Wish me luck.

Ooo, I’m interested! I used to play roblox, but not anymore (mostly because of the quality of the new games). I’m excited to see your opinions!

Let's start this off on a good note before we fall into shadows and descend into insanity.

@Sylvestern

Bee Swarm Simulator
Ranking: 4/4

Quite possibly the best modern simulator game on the site to date, and it shows. Its like-to-dislike ratio hovers close to 95%, compared to most simulators, ranging from 50% to 80%. You know this one's better.
Badge system? Perfect. Gameplay? It starts out boring, but then it gets crazy. Battle system? Nothing can contest.

The game was once hard to progress in without spending anything, but now... I have 270 royal jellies and we can leave it at that. They're very easy to get now. Spending money doesn't really get you that much of an advantage, but please do it. The developers are amazing and the head dev has a username to die for. I've met one of the developers, specifically the one that composes the music.

Yep, the game has an OST. That's how you know this isn't your everyday cash-grab simulator. Most simulators just use random cool free-use music they found. This has its own OST and has had it from the start, which says a lot about the game. It wasn't only made to sacrifice your money to the elder gods. It was made to let you have a good experience.

The game does have a buyable lootbox mechanic of sorts, but this is heavily offset by the fact that now, just about everything gives you like 50 of them. Back in the day, the only renewable way to get them gave them to you once per day. Now, that same method gives you 6 per day. There's a dispenser that just GIVES you the item for free every day. I've gotten mine to give about 12 of them. Every day, 12 of them. This isn't even every way, as a lot of non-renewable quests give truckloads, along with sprouts and battling, which also give you entirely too many.

Quite possibly the best thing, is that you can choose your playstyle. Rely on quests and boosts like I do but can still exist alone? Got it. A hive of red bees exclusively that grind in the rose field and nowhere else? It's encouraged by the game, actually. Even fighting monsters can get you a rather stable income into the tens of millions. You get options. This is very much unlike other simulators, which usually give you... 2 options at most for reaching your goal.

Speaking of the goal, there really isn't one. Want a hive of diamond bees and nothing else? That's fine. Completing every quest? I'm doing that and still haven't after a year. Super saturator? That's going to take a long time, but it works.

The fact that this game has been popular for close to 15 months now, while most simulators die in days or weeks, is a testament to how good that it actually is. People come back to this game. People want to play this game. These words mark my initial ranking of 4/4.

@OwU Roblox reviews? This actually sounds like a cool idea. I'd like to be on the pinglist, please.

Personally, I found Bee Swarm Simulator rather boring, though it's definitely better than most simulators out there. I like how the quests give you an incentive to do stuff, but many simulators give you quests in the first place, whenever it's in-game or simply through badges. Yet, I've only played it like three times. The first two was back when it was released, and the third time was for the Easter Egg Hunt. That probably sways my opinion a little bit, but I think it's as valid as any other.
