It is a fun game i have 2/3 of the series but the coolest one imo is the one i don't have ;w;

i own the first one and frontier. ive never tried champions but it looks interesting!

i played through the first one several times, it was really good and i got hours out of it! frontier wasnt my favorite but its still an interesting game.

which ones do you have? :o

I've played it fifteen different times and I've loved it! I wish I could play as a non-male though. 'Tis a shame, 'tis a shame.


I love frontier with all my heart, with my main complaint being that they took away the aquatic and Cenozoic fossils.


I hope if they do another one, it'll focus on mythology, due to the original focusing on space and frontier focusing on sci-fi. Maybe they could explore the idea of how fossils inspired mythology, and now that we have Yi qi, there could have been legitimate "dragons" or "gryphons" that gave inspiration.

Also what were you guy's faorite vivosaurs? Mine was this fire raptor, Nychu (the old one but idk why). Now that i'm older and have a brain i'm planning to complete the original like 100% it or get champions which is probably the coolest one of them all.

I have it, I put 250+ hours on the original game and unlocked all the vivos and whatnot :p. It was really nice to have a silly pokemon-like game that didn't take itself too seriously, and that allows you to collect every single 'special' items and creature WITHOUT events tied to real-world time/places or having to trade with other people or whatever. I just really appreciated being able to complete the game 100% through sheer determination on my own.
I'm playing through it for a third time now. I've beat Champions but haven't revisited it since. It was enjoyable but I don't think it held up to the first game at all. The color variants were an interesting idea but it really bugged my ADHD in terms of being able to complete things!

Cannot. Stand. Frontier. It completely changed the game and took away everything I liked about the first two. I haven't even completed Frontier, I find it so frustrating.

I think my loyalties either go to my OG's (Nychus, Spinax/Venator, and one aerial/marine) or my rapidly rising Rex, Duna, and either Igno, Frigi, or one of the alien brains.



As for Frontier, my favorite is my little guy Nibbles (or, in my game, Rexy), the Jade Dragon (shame we can't obtain it), and Dreadraven, my favorite eldritch abomination of a dinosaur.



OOOH, what if the next one focused on Igno and Frigi and the Jade Dragon, or something like that? Maybe a sea serpent or flying wyvern to match?

Yess I love Fossil Fighters, it's one of my favorite games.

I have all of the games, and I've played them multiple times. My personal favorite being Champions,, love the super evolvers sm asdfghjkl My favorite vivosaurs are Spino, Shanshan, Onyx, Futabi, Krona, and Tophis ^^ my favorite elements are water and neutral.

I have ALL THE DARK SOULS GAMES and the final boss of frontier is the hardest game boss in my time alive so far!

Was never a fan of the brains they seemed off to me i liked the aliens more. It would be cool to see them back id love for them to have the old combat system back but they always change it. I hope it's better the fourth time if there is one.

I only played the Original Fossil Fighter and Fossil Fighters Frontier.

The Original got me hooked and it had two ending depending on the love interested.
I never played Champions though...

Frontier was...different the Elemental Wheel overall stayed the same, with a few changes: Earth is now strong against Water, Air is strong against Earth, and Fire is strong against Air.
But in the Original Game and Champions, Water is strong against Fire, Fire is strong against Earth, Earth is strong against Air, Air is strong against Water, and Neutral has no advantages nor disadvantages. Understanding the new elemental system was hard and confusing.
