The past few nights my cats have been terrified of going in my room. It only seems to happen at nighttime though because during the day they act normal. Every night they stare in the doorway and sometime growl. I don't know if something outside by my bedroom is scaring them but it's creeping me out.

You could have ghosts or something supernatural occuring. Cats and other animals have been well known to pick on on things like that, that humans can't. Maybe try sageing the area and see if that helps any? Or checking the area outside the room to see if something could be upsetting them. In any case best of luck to you and your cats.

I don't believe in that but thank you. I've checked outside and in the room and nothing seems out of place.

Could be any number of things. Stray cats or other predators, such as foxes or bobcats, wandering through your yard would spook them. Perhaps they're picking up on a sound or scent that you can't. Sometimes, also, cats can become sensitive to lights and shadows. Are there lights reflecting off the window at night that don't normally during the day? They could even be seeing their own reflections in the window and not know what to make of it.

That's very weird, you should check your room or something its not okay that your cats fell fear when going to you room. I remember that my cat didn't like to go to the kitchen because he was afraid of rats, maybe your cats fear something that looks different during night.

You should try moving things around or cleaning because maybe there is a scent they don't like.
