Hello fren

I love beardies! I sadly do not own one because my mom is afraid of nearly all non-mammal animals, but I did manage to convince her on a tortoise. They're more cutesy and can't climb/run so she was fine with it.

She's a red-footed tortoise and her name is Viola. :)

Beardies are really popular in my friend group through and I've known 4 friends who have owned them. So I definitely got got to spend time with some!

I recently acquired a juvenile beardie of my own, named Chip: He has been adjusting quite well since I got him, and is fond of his rocks and log to bask on. He is a good eater, though he is not so fond of vegetables, though at his age he should be eating mostly bugs anyway. Thankfully a Facebook friend of mine has a small flock of beardies and has been giving me advice on how to take care of him, and there are tons of internet resources to help me should anything come up. Recently I acquired an under-the-tank heating mat for him, since it can get chilly in my college dorm at night.

Hey, friendly reminder to drink water, stretch, and take a short break if you can. Stay healthy! Also, don't forget about any chores or tasks you might be putting off.
@MANGO123 I have a beardie her name is Amber. I have had her for 10 years now she loves being held and/or being let out of her cage she loves sleeping on my leg if she's on it she will fall asleep very fast. She's very chill I rescued her from a petshop that had her in a tiny cage she has toes missing from her back leg but that doesn't stop her from climbing on me or her log.

!! My boi is named Papaya and he's very lazy, here he is:
(inhale) i have a trans derg :v lemme explain so i got Ziggy from my aunt, and Ziggy would fight with her brother, RIngo, but only males fight, but her tail says she's female??? trans lizard
Okay so uh. All beardies are solitary animals, so it makes sense that Ziggy would fight with her brother, no matter if she's a girl or a boy. You say her tail says she's a female? Have you done the flashlight test? That should tell you exactly what Ziggy is. https://www.beardeddragon.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=204533 But yeah, beardies are all aggressive towards other beardies, no matter if they're siblings, both female, a male and a female, any combo. It's not worth the risk!! Humans tend to project human emotions onto animals, for example thinking beardies need "friends" so they decide to cohab them. Beardies are solitary, and cohabbing only leads to injury or even death! This is just a PSA to any beardie owners who could be reading this.

Disguises a post asking people to show pics of their cute little baby beardies as a question about bearide breeding.

I would like to try to breed my beardies in the future and was wondering if anyone had any tips on doing so
